Kirk was playing in a Wavedash Wednesday expressing interesting in returning to PM. He lost to Lazarond (Link player from Chicago) twice and was knocked out, but he took out Scythe (top wolf player) on the way to losers semis. Link vs Bowser MU is impossible lol

no, I'm not trying to insinuate that, I know plup is really good. Basically that gf was the best sonic in NA vs the best MK in NA and it was just really entertaining to watch all around

Anybody who thought there was any possibility of Slippy being in the game, even after seeing the April fools day trailer, should honestly just feel really terrible about the life they lead.

You don't need b-reverses to thunder off stage. It just makes it a little easier.

Also, it's just the cloud that meteor smashes. Not the lightning.

Thunder must metoer too, cause Bowser doesnt touch the cloud before the Thunder comes out

It always makes me sad that space travel and exploration take so ****ing long. Actual results from research like this (as in the examination of the water samples) might not emerge until after we're dead. :urg:

My guess is that the bolt itself meteors as it extends down towards Pikachu, but maybe acts normally (as in, how it does in other Smash titles) once it has fully extended.

He streamed before 2.0 came out. There were no other Pits.

It was weird how he streamed so prominently for about 3 months and then disappeared forever.

i feel ya brother, i've always wanted to fast forward to the future just to see if there's finally a device that lets you take control of your dreams, i know there's one right now that sends a certain frequency that's tells you "hey, your dreaming, take control" without actually waking you up

I'm co-TOing a new southwest melee/pm tournament series that begins on May 10. For those in the region that are interested check the link in my sig. Should be hype, we have Socal/mexicali pretty much confirmed, and New Mexico might make it out. It will be streamed as we have like 4 different streamers here in AZ.

You can argue about whether or not it's legal to make a mod of a game, but ultimately that doesn't matter unless you have the money to go against Nintendo in court.
Honestly a cease and desist would probably shut down PM regardless of legality just for monetary reasons.

Though clearly they can't make it just "go away."
It's already out there. Maybe people stop streaming tournaments and stuff, but it doesn't just disappear.

Whatever the most recent version of PM that's out will still float around the Internet, of course. If people really love it and want to keep playing it there will always be places to download the necessary files.

But I think it might be a bad idea for Nintendo to try and stop this thing. We saw the backlash from that whole Evo debacle. Overall Nintendo's PR is not at an all time high right now. I think it's in their best interest to just try and be cool.
