I could play this game forever and never get bored (ok maybe after 3000 years, but still)
Just finished this game for the 4th time.
****ing. Marvelous.
10/10 I'll probably play it again in 2 years or so.
Now I'm off to replay Black.
I'm at about the same place, just beat the hell out of Snow. Chronostasis is so damn good. I'm loving the new battle system as well, it's something fresh to the trilogy. My only gripe with the game is the whole overworld time concept. I get what they were going for, but my god is it annoying to only be able to complete certain quests at certain times, especially when they overlap each other. You too? Im half way through the game and I thinks the it's been pretty damn good so far.
That game was great. Primal Dialga is a prick tho.[collapse=][/collapse]

Count me in if you ever get a tee spring going or something. So, whipped up a couple of shirt prints that I want to do at some point.
Don't know if the phrases "where's my jump", "I thought I had another jump", or, "I lost my jump somewhere" ever come up in anybody else's groups, but I thought it was something everybody could relate to.

[collapse=Hello, my name is: John][/collapse]
I thought everyone said this at one point in time."I thought I had another jump"
More like a catchphrase/memetic quote than an "I always wanted to say that!" sort of thing.I thought everyone said this at one point in time.
Awesome! So, whipped up a couple of shirt prints that I want to do at some point.

Oh lol guess were basically around the same part then. Chronostasis is awesome as hell. The battle system is also pretty cool and fresh. But the way quest work and such is somewhat of a piss-off. Still loving the game though <3
I feel you man..... I truly do....With all these changes coming about, I feel too...normal.
Fridge brilliance(/logic for this case? IDK) can be a funny thing.Awesome!
But if a kirby player says such a thing, they don't deserve any of their jumps.
You mean in this thread or in general?Gotta say, in relation to so many people talking about great games I'm surprised the Tales of series isn't getting much credit. Namco Bandai has some incredible RPGs.
Just in general I guess - but really this thread too just because I've seen so much talk about RPGs. I feel kinda bad though my very first RPG wasn't all the way till Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. You mean in this thread or in general?
Because ToS is da bes and Lloyd should make it into Smash4
I'd like to suggest ToS if you can. I guess, even the ToS sequel wouldn't be bad, but it's sorta confusing if you haven't played the first one.I've always wanted to play a Tales game. but never actually got around to doing it. Might pick up ToV sometime in the future when I have more free time.
That was my second RPG ever. My first was KHII, man I loved that game.Just in general I guess - but really this thread too just because I've seen so much talk about RPGs. I feel kinda bad though my very first RPG wasn't all the way till Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
I still thought it was a decent game. /broken rule...
We will not speak of ToS2.

I never got into Kingdom Hearts - I have nothing against the series however. Even if Kingdom Hearts has one of the most annoying underwater levels ever, I just saw a video of it and could barely take it.That was my second RPG ever. My first was KHII, man I loved that game.
PMTTYD is great as well, that game is definitely the best in the series.
As for ToS, idk. I'm feeling ToV so much more lol. I'll get ToS if I enjoy ToV enough.
I mean, if that's your jam, I'm certainly not going to knock you for it. More power to you if you managed to distill some kind of enjoyment from the game. I just didn't like it. The story was weak (sigh), the characters were weak (oh dear God what did they do to you all???), the monster collecting was an okay wrinkle, and the combat was...well, Tales.I still thought it was a decent game. /broken rule

On a serious note, I never understood what the hate to the game was. But that's just me. People tend to think my opinion of many games is very odd, and very few actually seem to agree with me.
I actually changed the post before you responded - guess you were using the original post.I mean, if that's your jam, I'm certainly not going to knock you for it. More power to you if you managed to distill some kind of enjoyment from the game. I just didn't enjoy it.

My friend and I got near-endless enjoyment out of ToS2 from the voice-actors repeatedly saying "Ginnungagap"I mean, if that's your jam, I'm certainly not going to knock you for it. People need to play Xenoblade Chronicles. its really good. Valkyria Chronicles is another good rpg series.@ Smooth Criminal
Speaking of RPGs more people should've played, I'm surprised how little people have actually played Xenoblade Chronicles.

That reminds me . . . I need to find the other Xeno games too
