I can dig it but only if Pichu uses the ukulele in a taunt.
If we're still talking perfect Yoshi vs perfect Fox, Rapid powershield (another weird Yoshi thing) beats Fox's Dair and since Dair has a 9-frame landing, it can be punished by quite a few of Yoshi's moves before Fox can Shine.Multihits like Fox dair are the best solution to Yoshi parry. Yoshi also gets waveshined, so there's that benefit if you land a drill and he is trying to parry.
#FoxOnly
This doesn't stop Yoshi from being good in Project M, and it's not what stops Yoshi from being good in Melee.I don't think he can be secret top tier when his recovery is that inconsistent. The double jump is good for recovery, but he (except for Jiggs) is the only character who doesn't get recovery back when they get edge guarded. And he relies on the double jump while on stage for practically everything. If you're not using the double jump on stage as Yoshi, then you're missing out on like half of his stuff, but if you are, all it takes is a poke at any percent and you're dead. No recovery at all, and you die a few inches off of the edge at 15%.
Didn't they just changed the name from ProjectMelee to ProjectMGame? What happened to the old Project M facebook page??
fffiiiiiiiiiiiiiinaaaallllllyyyyyyyy, it took them long enough lol XDIf any of pokemon nerds are waiting for Pokebank I have good news for you.

Bleh, the Pokebank servers are already full and it kicked me off. :/ No idea when they'll be functional again, I highly doubt that will be today and almost all my boxes are full so I can't do anything till then. Will let you know in a PM when I'm able to trade though, but I have to go to class soon so I'll be back later. Check my site here for what I can offer: http://www.sapphiredragon.co.nr/SapphireDragon/pokemon-breedingHook me with with a HA Magikarp later. There's some good stuff on The Slip, but I feel like everything else from With Teeth and forward has been pretty bland. How recent of stuff?
Then get smart about when to use your double jumps where they can't be punished, such as when you're comboing or edge-guarding someone else. While it's especially true for Yoshi, it's the same for every character. Having an Up-B or more to recover is no excuse for carelessly using your double jump.I don't think he can be secret top tier when his recovery is that inconsistent. I read the first sentence and knew I'd like this post. Then get smart about when to use your double jumps where can't be punished, such as when you're comboing or edge guarding someone else.
This is the narrator for the Smash Bros. Documentary isn't it?

I mean, of course. You don't waste it. But you're going to be using it, and no matter how smart you are about it, there's going to be some stupid trade where a nairplane flies in and ruins your whole day because you traded with a weak hit. It happened to Amsa so many times at Apex. I'd expect him to know how to be smart about when to use the double jump. Yoshi's just so killable. There's isn't a way to be taking full advantage of the utility of the double jump without sometimes encountering the very steep risks associated with it.Then get smart about when to use your double jumps where they can't be punished, such as when you're comboing or edge-guarding someone else. People also have a bad habit of attacking during Yoshi's double jump when being edge guarded rather than just letting the armor blow through the attack.

Considering aMSa got 9th place, I don't see how this is an example of Yoshi's Recovery holding him back...I mean, of course. You don't waste it.
