Since we're on the topic of women stages, Iv'e got a question that's been bugging me for a while now.

What's exactly wrong with Norfair that makes it so everyone seems to ignore about its existence?
Is it the unorthodox platform layout? If so, how can it be considered more unorthodox than Skyworld, a fairly popular counterpick, or even Skyloft?

PMBR, I have a super big favour to ask you. Can you switch the positions of Dracula's Castle and Skyloft? No one really likes to play on Skyloft competitively, and Dracula's Castle was widely used until it got dammed to the upper row.

I do agree that the giant top platform should be made alot smaller. It really can become annoying sometimes.

Of course, there already are a handful of good stages in PM compared to other games, so it's not like we desperately need more. I was merely being curious about its non-viability.

I'm pretty sure Norfair is not any bigger than Skyloft. Drac's Castle, Rumble Falls and Distant Planet are so much bigger, and it's not hard to see why.

As for Skyloft, I personally don't like it, mainly for the weird top platforms, but as of recently I've noticed that people are starting to counterpick there more often, so I wouldn't say it needs to be moved.

How is netplay? Is it 100% lag-free?

A bit late, sorry.

It's not 100% lag free in normal circumstances, it's just as close as we're ever going to get. There isn't clear, "I pressed the button a quarter of a second ago" input lag like there is on Wi-Fi, but I do find powershielding to be more difficult over netplay. Other than that, it's super smooth as long as your ping is under 100.

I only dislike Metal Cavern because I'm a scrub it is not that visually appealing. I love that they stylized crystals; I don't like the way they stylized them. Everything just seems so... flat. Needs more detail/texture imo.

My favorite stage happens to be Pictochat. It's so fun doing Pikachu gimmicks with the different drawings.

I think I know what you mean, but this post as a whole is pretty contradictory (Pictochat being a flat black and white stage and all).

What really contradicts that is the fact that Metal Cavern a 64 stage, that's why it looks flat with little detail.

As for Pictochat, it might be bare but it's definitely stylized and it's only bare because the drawings always change. It's way too fun.

Yeah it makes sense you wouldn't know that, many of the stages in 64 are only in the single player mode.

I'm trying to main Wario and yeah nothing's really wrong with him. Still, I AM curious why you guys took out that crouch you could do in the middle of the Shoulder Bash. Was it too good for mixups? Or would a lot of Wario players immediately crouch whenever they were about to hit a shield their opponent quickly put up? I imagine it's the latter since back then I always did that to avoid being punished.

I'm not sure where exactly to post this, but I want to get it out there: Great Bay (Melee) would be awesome in PM imo.

Also, it still amazes me how amazing PM is. Is there like a PM appreciation section, because I'd like to thank everyone who's involved personally without sending over 9000 messages.

The thing about termina bay is it has water. Personally I think something Clock Town related would be a better majora's mask representative than termina was.
