Why did I have to wake up to bad news today? These are hard times indeed.

"Dusty is also responsible for my name and character upon my arrival to WWE. After dropping my previous persona from the independents upon signing, I had to choose a new name and a new identity; a new character. It was Dream’s belief in me as a more natural, conversational speaker that helped my decision to more or less just be myself. Picking a name proved to be difficult though, as I had submitted three separate lists of names, all of which had been rejected. Finally, I was asked to narrow it down to 3-5 names and I had a private meeting with Dream to make the big decision. Well, that meeting lasted about a minute.

“So, which name do you like?” Dusty said, in his unmistakable and frequently imitated lisp.
“Uh, I don’t know…I kind of like Sami Zayn”, I replied sheepishly. Bear in mind, I had kept this name on each of the lists, and so the name Sami Zayn had been rejected three times at this point.
“Hmm…Sami Zayn……Sami….Zayn….” he said, as he slowly waved his arm laterally, as if visualizing it on a marquee. He paused, and nodded dramatically. “Yeah, that’s the name. You tell them Dream said Sami Zayn is the name.” And so it was, just like that. Even now telling that story, I have a grin on my face from ear to ear."

Back from the Kohl's interview.

They kept asking me if it'd be okay if I could come in early as if they already made up their minds.

That and despite it being a group interview, everyone seemed completely focused on me cause of my name and odd background.

Even the moment I walked into the store, as soon as I told the person asking about the interview who I was, they lit up like "You mean the guy with the name just like the store!? I saw your application and was like 'we've got to get him hired!' and stuff and she was one of the ones interviewing me. The guy that was her boss was the one who said the same thing to me on the phone yesterday. We all chatted for awhile and they said they wanted to see me again.

tl;dr I may be jumping the gun, but guys? I think I'm hired. XD

Is an hour really such a long time to wait for an answer? Maybe for the impatient.

Unless you are in a back and forth conversation and disrupt the flow without saying you have to go, or an issue that needs an immediate response, they can wait for you to finish whatever your doing to respond to their random message. Which may lead to a long conversation that you don't have time for at that moment but will later.

Girls getting annoyed at you, but keep texting you anyway is a lot better than rushing to respond to them like a trained seal and boring them.

Text messages are like e-mails where there may be a delayed response, which people also get on their phones coincidentally, and should be treated as such.

sending a text can usually be a bit more convenient than a phone call. It's not at all like an email, and overall a lot less demanding on your attention than a phone call. I'm not saying demand instant replies, but replying to someone quickly shouldn't be seen as a bad thing, which seemed to be what you were implying.

I'm likely gonna be a guest on a couple streams over the next couple weeks, since the locals want to have a recorded version of the spew I usually give at fests to have access to at all times.
Basically it's just the methods of practice and play crap I always go back to as the root to why I can afk for 9 months, beat a melee god in an MM, and vanish for another 9 months.
There must be SOME kind of magic there, so I try preaching it, but it's different every time and usually universal stuff, so I should be able to do it once and BE DONE WITH IT.
1 stream of Melee since it's where my roots of it came from, and once with PM after.

Just a distant heads-up to anyone who ever wanted to see me play. Though I likely won't be playing much 'real' smash, and it'll mostly be several minions learning the techniques/methods, and hopefully this 1 player can make it who basically went from raw-scrub to one of the strongest 'active' players in the community in less than a year BECAUSE of our meetings and the state of being he approached the game with as a result of it. More context to make sense of it.

Likely lots of rants. Because me.
I'm getting good at toning it down though, so should be understandable on the first 'go' without pause-and-play needed like every 5 seconds to think about shiz.

But yeah, I'm not organizing it so it should actually happen.

Ok I think I figured out why this final boss is giving me such trouble. It's like every single attack of his are Ether attacks, of which the agility stat is useless for which is why Dunban is dying so quickly (despite him, and Melia and Riki for that matter as well, having 800+ Ether Def). I have the feeling I am under-leveled somehow (level 77, his level comes up as ??? and I figured his box is red as a result of the ??? level. Idk) But I really don't want to load back to my last save just to level up. There has to be something I'm missing here that makes me keep messing up.

Why is it now I had to run into a problem with this game. ;-;

Sometimes I have to remember some people are new to computers so I don't get mad at a classmate who doesn't know how to copy and paste or use folders though.
I had to teach someone a year ahead of me where their downloaded files are at and what a .zip is.
