People were abusing high levels of it in tourney, and even lower levels are technically an advantage. I like 1 frame of it especially for Wifi use to execute stuff in lag, which they've been keeping in the Wifi version but they'll have to fix it in the patch since they forgot to actually replace Crew mode's code while the Buffer option is still there it'll just turn on stocks.
Much appreciated, that makes sense. Damn, I guess I should just wait for Smash 4, haha!

There's still input assistance in the options, right?
That was a few frames of buffer globally iirc.
Not user specific though, assuming you want specifically that *shrug*

I'll accept that, you got to the EXP tournies? Did you play Octorok's Ness, cus he mentioned playing some saw guy and said you happen to use C-stick set to Attack to perform Nairs with CF.
Yep, that's me. Guess I'd better start brushing up my GB.

It's really hard to pin point 3 frames as what it should be, the goal is to work down levels to reach 1 or 0

I was looking for the user specific version, since I can play decently well with the input assist on but I don't want to interfere with my friends who don't like playing with it.

Sorry, I have a life
oh **** man I'm sorry
I didn't realize you had a life
that makes you so stand-out and different from everyone else here
I should have been a little more respectful, I bet you even have #swag too
better add buffer back in so people like you who only play video games .02 minutes a day because you have a life don't have to try anymore
because like, if some with #aLife and #Swag can't be good at a game without practice, it's just not worth the time
and thank god you have enough of #aLife to judge a community and its game by one post of one person
I like to do the same- frankly, if you're representative of the brawl community, I'd be happy to discontinue playing it
Hypothetically of course, because I already don't play that garbage.

In the wifi build, buffer can be set on a player by player basis. It is similar to how you would set handicaps. What Spidermad was referring to was that if you wanted to play online, it's optimal to use the same buffer as your opponent so that desyncs don't occur. If you are just looking to play offline, then the wifi set buffer options would be your best bet.

There are a few minor differences in the wifi build like light presses causing airdodge instead of only hard presses on triggers. It isn't anything game breaking or anything that would ruin the offline experience unless it's a tournament setting.

That too, but I think it's seriously missing the code lol. They put the menu file or at least part of it for it to appear as Buffer but it turns on stocks/crew mode, so the .gct I assume is missing the code. No biggie though: we'll wait for it in a patch to come when someone discovers Roy can make characters explode and Olimar can make pikmin get stuck in the air lol

You ignored the rest of that sentence entirely: "...and I don't see why I should have to spend hours retraining myself on fundamental inputs in order to play a mod that used to have this functionality."

What are these costumes based on? All of the previous Pokemon colors had themes, but I don't know the idea behind these new ones.

Squirtle's purple color reminds me of Rattata.

Star Wars music always works for Star Fox stages, lol.
It's amazingly fun to have 4 trubo Giga Bowsers flying around the screen, my friends and I were laughing the whole time.
I can't believe it works.

TELL ME IT WORKS WITH TURBO MODE MAN!!!!

Man I hope Giga Bowser is legal tourneys darn it also I command that Gimpyfish should play Giga Bowser in tournament at all times if he is legal.

One more thing prepare your anuses for Giga Bowser in turbo mode cause YOUR ANUSES SHALL BE OBLITERATED like Krillin against Final Form Frieza in the Namek Saga of DBZ.

I'm excited to play this game more. Liking what I've seen so far. I never got 2.6 so even meta knight is new to me. can't wait to see more of these easter eggs.

I wish I could save data for home run contest with mewtwo and roy (and pokemon) shame you can't... though the one time I played with Roy the shields were gone... should have tested that a bit more.

I know most people hate IGN, but we should give them some credit. In the last two days I've seen 3 articles from them on P:M 3.0.

(A launch trailer, a how to install, and a video of alternate costumes).

Seriously, nice stuff.
