It was a nightmare to get it even to play them off the HDD in the first place. When i even attempted this i messed up 2 thumb drives to lock and cant even remove the files. So i was stuck into this supererogatory of not getting it to work. It wasn't until i found out that i was using some old tactic that was obsolete i could ACTUALLY do something. Needless to say i was able to play Gamecube ISOs before Wii ISOs...IronicI can only play ISOs and emulators on my wii, the disk drive broke a long time ago.
I just use my computer instead lmao.
what is it?Is it common that if you practice sth that you already have some experience in, you get a lot worse at first? I'm currently having this and it is very disappointing...

Chess. I had a peak mid April of around 1780 in blitz (half a month before I started having more time and I therefore played more), and since then I started freefalling (<1550 today, admittedly on a bad day), even if I practiced more in the last weeks and months.what is it?
Just try it nerdI wanna laugh at anyone that has a Sonic OC...and a Mario OC (yea they exist)
I don't play chess at all so i cant really say much but in thinking games progress is really hard to measure and doesn't always correlate nicely with actual in game success. just play more and don't get yourself down about it and you'll eventually start making noticeable gains again (probably)Chess. One reason could be that I'm overplayed, in which case I'd just keep going and improve enough that I make that up, and if I have an important game or tournament, I'd maybe take a few days rest from chess to let the forged sword cool down, so to speak.
Another reason could be that when practicing, you change a lot of routines (which are important in blitz especially) and you therefore play worse in the beginning. I have noticed a little bit of this, sometimes even anticyclic performance waves in blitz and standard time controls.
It could also be that my previous rating was somehow "artificial" because I played fast and won a lot on time, and higher rated players, while tougher to beat on position, are often not that much harder to beat on time than lower rated ones. As I started thinking in blitz, the wins on time became rarer and my play when using time didn't improve enough to make up for it... Don't like that version, because it would mean that taking your time is punished and this is against my sense of chess justice ^^.
Also @ DMG , you ever had something like that?
I'm not a bullet or blitz fan, but focusing too heavily on them will tend to negatively impact your playing. Matches under 5 min for me aren't as satisfying so I tend to abstain from it, you could be on an unlucky streak or an actual fundamental decline in skill but good luck figuring that out from blitz. You may just have a dulled tactical sense that you will regain after study or practice, dunno. Also @ DMG , you ever had something like that?
gooooooooooooood
wildstar just announced f2p
I actually gained a few points on the tactics trainer, but my blunder rate increased. Well, the first is mostly pattern recognition and the second needs "full-board-awareness", some focus and consistency. In my correspondence games I am doing decent, it just seems my blunder rate also increased a little there. I am a little worried that I might miss pretty obvious things in longer games if I play like that.I'm not a bullet or blitz fan, but focusing too heavily on them will tend to negatively impact your playing. My declines in chess have been from absences or long breaks, although comparatively the explosion of chess info/theory/etc recently makes it much harder to beat opponents in the know that even a couple years ago.
If you're gonna stretch out and crowd fund a fake trailer, it still needs to be a real movie not just a hodge podge of totally radical 80s themed ideas. See the Grindhouse trailers made into real movies: Hobo with a Shotgun, Machete and Machete Kills.so Kung fury is out
LOLso Kung fury is out
Yeah it felt a bit disappointing, like it was a half assed pilot for a show pitch (or a college film with a bigger budget). If you're gonna stretch out and crowd fund a fake trailer, it still needs to be a real movie not just a hodge podge of totally radical 80s themed ideas.
