The controls can get a little messy. And often times, it's criticised for it's 'story' or lack thereoff. Seeing as you have a lot of potential ending in the game, which makes many people think this 'ruined the series'.

. Anyway, objectives in the levels are kind of similar in a way. You don't really fly through courses, you destroy enemies, destroy their base (which gets quite repeative, but it's still not too bothersome) and have dogfights. Also, you'll have to draw yourself a course on the map, and reach your objectives quickly. It almost feels like a strategy game sometimes. And you can control nearly all of the known StarFox cast. Didn't quite like the '****ty phase' Krystal went through however, but can overlook that.
