I think what most people wanted for a new Starfox game was another rail shooter with updated graphics. Starfox Assualt kind of touched on it with a few levels on rail, but overloaded the game with sloppy on foot combat.

Starfox Assualt gave a good first impression on its first level by staying with the on rail shooting, but also we got to explore a planet we haven't seen since the Super Nintendo, Fortuna, the scenery was beautiful and that made the level enjoyable. What I don't get is why they couldn't have done something else like this for the other planets.[/collapse]
With the extra screen the Wii U controller provides I would love to see a multiplayer campaign for Starfox. Not only that, but the game could even have an online multiplayer battle mode! Personally, I feel like the on foot combat should stay only in multiplayer battle mode, but before they atempt to put in the on foot combat they need to fix the controls for it.

I was thinking that the best way to fix the controls was to make it similar to the way Starwars Battlefront on foot combat was. I mean if you think about it the Battlefront style of combat was almost what they were trying to becuase they both have vehicles, jetpacks, rocketlaunchers, 3rd person shooting (although you could switch to 1st person), ect...
If you haven't played either of the Starwars Battlefront games they're awesome! Anyways, in Starfox Assualt I kept finding that I was having my character walk backwards as opposed to turning around more realisticly. Also,I found the rolling action in Assault to be kind of worthless in combat. You could only roll side to side as opposed to a forward roll in Battlefront which was actually usefull in that game which help you escape from things like grenades. Grenades were another useless like in Assaut because there were very poor in aiming.
[collapse=Krystal's staff] Anouther cool feature I thought up was being able to find, equip, and use Krystal's staff in Multiplayer battle mode.
The staff would be a melee weapon like a lightsaber with maybe a secondary attack that shoots fireballs.
the staff would be a prestigouse weapon that rewards players by doing a ton of damage by being able to get up close and wack your opponets, just like the lightsaber.

The game would be compatable with the touch screen controller, the wiimote and nunchuck, and the Wii U Pro controller. If they ever made this fantastic game that I would definitly play it!
