Pretty in pink or true in blue, Krystal for Sm4sh!

While I think the whole "X has too many, y needs more" thing is bogus, the main reason I think it would be fine is because I believe certain series (mostly F-Zero, Pikmin, Kid Icarus and obviously 3rd Parties) do just fine representing the series with just a few characters. I do agree some love would be nice for all the veteran series (Metroid and Yoshi in particular), as well as the series with a lot to offer (even with 6+ reps and Pokeballs/stages, not even half of the Pokemon franchise is "covered").

Plus, it's not like that's the main reason certain characters would receive cuts. It's mostly just time constraints/Sakurai not liking how the character's would play (looking at that article of his take on Fighting Game characters). Speaking of other games, Street Fighter usually does well despite having dozens of Shoto clones. Same goes for Mario-spin-off games having craploads of alternate formes for main characters (Babies, Metal Mario/Dry Bowser, etc.) rather than reaching out all the time for characters that represent certain sub-series (Rosalina was all Galaxy reps needed, IMO. They did not have to go and add Queen Honey Bee in Mario Kart 7).

That all said, it's just opinions at the end of the day. I'm not gonna hate others for having different ones, nor am I going to go out of my way to "not want/hope they don't get in" for other characters just because I don't like them. I wouldn't mind Slippy, nor would I hate him for having priority over Krystal.

That all said, I'm pretty sure people already have plenty of reasons to hate Slippy.

The Star Fox series is fine as is when it comes to representation. Krystal getting in depends on whether or not Sakurai thinks she would bring anything new or not.

And, seriously, the last few pages reek of awful fanboyism and childishness. Anyway, people bashing each another over a character never stops being entertaining.

Every Franchise has gotten at least two stages to represent it in Brawl whether it be one retro from melee or up to two new stages, so It wouldn't be asking too much for Krystal to get her own stage and Fox, Wolf and\or Falco to share another.

Ignoring the Krystal stage stuff, lest we wake DarkKry from his cave to yell at us, I'd like a stage based on the train chase on Macbeth in Star Fox 64 and as the fight goes on the rest of Star Fox (and Kat) slowly demolish the train as you fight on it.

I think a train stage would be pretty fun! Nice, flat terrain at first but interactive all the same.

I see y some ppl dont like Adventures cuz its so differnt but i didnt have that biasded going in. I would imagine it would be like playing ocarina of time and then the sequel being a first person shooter in the future lol

Hehe, for sure. There was Link's Crossbow Training FPS game, actually, haha.

I think the Star Fox universe is actually a pretty good choice as far as different modes of gameplay goes. Even Star Fox 64 let you unlock the multiplayer option of running and gunning on foot, and the Landmaster tank controls pretty differently from the Arwing to begin with.

It's a good series... I hope it gets renewed for sure.

I still kinda cant believe the series missed the whole Wii era, but im confident that Nintendo will do something with it for the Wii U, maybe something they were technologically unable to do on the Wii, an hopefully they've been taking notes on wat works and wat doesnt so the next game will be EPIC!

Thats exactly wat i was thinking, i thot the wiimote would have made the gameplay much more fluid.I only have a 3ds rite now, but i plan on getting a Wii U for smash4 and the 3ds version but theres alot of other games i want for it too like bayonetta2 and the wonderful 101 and eventually new mario, zelda, metroid etc. And wat kind of maniac wouldnt buy a Wii U just to play this game lol

Venom and Corneria were both owned by Fox and Falco in Melee, Lylat cruise was just a generic stage, in fact all three of them had to share it. If there ever was a stage on Sauria, then it would be considered Krystal's.

Actually it's possible.

Brawl had 39 characters (or 35 slots) and 41 stages. Even if we give Sheik and each of the trainer's pokémon a different stage, we would still have two stages to spare for other franchises.

That always bugged me about brawl. Why were there so damn many Mario Stages? Rainbow Cruise, Delfino, Mushroomy kingdom 1-1 and 1-2, Luigii's Mansion and Mario Bros. Only other series to get more stages than characters were Metroid, Donkey Kong and yoshi, and the second Yoshi one was Super Mario World so it hardly counts.

It's a well known fact guys will fap to anything with boobs. Look at WFT. She's essentially a mannequin and within hours of her reveal the internet was flooded with Rule 34 of her. Honestly, it's not like this isn't the case for Peach, Zelda, or (especially) Samus either or, hell, the entire Smash Bros cast (Wolf and Fox have so much gay Rule 34 that it's not even funny... okay, maybe it's a little funny). If you're a female video game character (or any fictional character if we were to be completely honest with ourselves), you're going to have some sweaty, neckbeard jacking off to you somewhere.

Well I wanted wolf first and we got him and he is a male wolf. I wanted him more than her but I want her as wel, I just hate how If you try to defend the character people will categorize you, I doubt if I was blabbering about Lyn who I want really badly that she would be as criticized.

It's just insane.

But, Krystal.. I mean, here in Smashboards, I havn't seen any comment about people that want krystal because they'll be able to fap ingame. I'm a Star Fox fan, and aswell as other SF fans they would love to see Krystal in SSB4. And other characters of the series. Oikonny, Cat Monroe, Dash, Fay, Miyu, Peppy, Sleppy and even General Pepper. It's just that.

It's the same as a Metroid Hardcore Fan, I would LOVE to see another character in the roster.
