Hey everybody! 2010 is drawing to a quick close. It feels like it wasn't that long ago that I teamed with June at C3, but time flies. As we come to the end of 2010, I'd like to present to you, the Best of 2010 awards! This will feature a bunch of silly categories that I've selected and then have characters section at the end. There are couple rules to this. Basically, you're gonna fill out the forms here nominating the person you think goes fits that category the best. A closing panel will be assembled to break ties and such. There are some eligibility requirements, lets go over them now:
Nominee requirements: They must attend tournaments and/or smashfest in MD/VA on a regular basis. MD/VA is pretty much the Baltimore-Washington Metro area tournaments. If you attend these tournaments and live somewhat close by, you are eligible. If someone came down from Philly every week to play in our tournaments, they would be an MD/VA player as far as I'm concerned, so someone like Waffle who actually lives in PA is eligible for this list.
Voter requirements: To make a nomination, you must meet one of the 2 following requirements (either or)
1. You live in Maryland, DC, or Virginia (anywhere in those states)
2. You have attended an MD/VA tournament in 2010 at any point
Meaning anyone who attended Xanadu, Pound, or MLG, or anything like that may make a nomination for this. If you haven't been to MD/VA, don't bother nominating, i'll ignore your vote. You have to have experienced us at least once to be a voter.
Duplicate Rule: You can't nominate the same person more than 3 times on the same form. (There is the awards sheet and the character sheet, they can go on each up to 3 times.)
It's pretty simple, you see? Below are the categories. Go ahead and copy paste these for your replies. (A couple of these are tournaments, go ahead and post the name of the tournament you want, and be somewhat specific if its a repeat tourney)
