your right sora would have increased sales in Wiis. hell i bought the wii just for Brawl. so imagine when people hear about this roster... this game is going to big , big time ^_^

I've been wanting to play Pikmin, but the game came out before I had a gamecube. XD And then I never got around to it. :ohwell:

nice job wiseguy, i know this was a character you've wanted for a while now. the only question i have with this is double update on a character? who's not third party? i hope we get his special moves tomorrow. (why not Ridley? why?)

Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, and Donkey Kong all had double updates.

Ridley would probably be unlockable, and thus may not be revelaed on dojo...

I never really liked the first pikmen game (mostly because you only have 30 days and they each last like 5 minutes) but I don't really have anything against Olimar. In one of the screenshots he uses a yellow pikmen as a weapon, which I find hilarious so I'll definatley give him a chance. Congrats on having your most wanted confirmed my friend. Now if only we'd have a K.Rool update.

I've long waited for this day. Olimar, the greatest Nintendo character in the history of the universe is now imortalized in Brawl. To be honest, if this were the last newcomer in Brawl, it wouldn't even bother me that much. I am TOTALLY goning to main Olimar. I'm so friggin happy! :chuckle::chuckle:

It's his dumb head. Lucario could have an awesome Anubis head, but he doesn't. Dude, Mewtwo is just as lame as Lucario. He's a giant hairless cat whose claim to fame is a kid's cartoon. Also, he's a Pokemon, which is pretty lame in and of itself.

Dude, you are over looking the fact that Kingdom Hearts fans are one of the more fanatical cults out there. Plus, many of them are Playstation fans who wouldn't normally buy a Nintendo system. You'd better believe Sora would increase Wii sales.

Now all I need is for time and space to fold in on itself and allow Banjo and Kazooie to join the Brawl roster...CURSE YOU MICROSOFT!!!

If there's one thing we can all agree on here, it would be that Olimar is one hell of a character. I was sceptical at first, but my concerns were washed away this morning when I checked the Dojo.

It's almost funny how the tension builds every time a character is announced. I have my browser window set to a size where, when I check the Dojo, the "Warning: Challenger Approaching!" sign will show but not spoil the character itself. Then I perform a ritual sacrifice, dance a bit, and spend a few minutes sitting in quiet contemplation, hoping that my pleas will be answered, and another cool character would be announced for Brawl.

Today, someone heard my calls.

Awesome, wasn't a big Pikmin fan but I love the fresh dynamic for the character. (beating people with Pikmin)

The only thing I'm not getting are all of those people out there that are saying how bad he is...just doesn't make any sense at all... o.o

There will always be some who dislike a character; remember Sonic's confirmation day and afterwards?

Even a character of his stature - he had people not liking him and saying Sega didn't need a rep blah blah blah.

Well, the best thing to do is turn the other cheek; Olimar is an open door to very unique movesets, and IMO, if any newcomer (besides Geno or K. Rool obviously) joined the Dojo before Japan's release, I wanted it to be him.

Am I the only person who has noticed that the Dojo is a little jumbled? Like how Melee Stages Part 1 is missing, but Part 2 isn't? Or how the How to Play goes like this:

So, I float around this thread pretty frequently. Mostly, I just either laugh at or enjoy the many debates that pop up between jimmy and everyone else. Today, however, OLIMAR HAS JOINED THE BRAWL! And the whole world will rejoice for Wiseguy being right!

And for the record, I will be happy now with whatever roster we have in the end, especially if it's Wiseguy's prediction +Falco and +Marth.

Only Ridley, K. Rool, Megaman, and Skull Kid to go!

EDIT: Jimmy, Melee Stages Part 1 is there, it's just called Melee Stages. I noticed the How to Play order a couple days ago, though. Maybe it's just a typo.
