This leak has a lot of constancies with videos we've seen from the Smash 3D demo, down to little stuff like the thick borders on selected characters. I wouldn't expect a team of leakers, no matter how committed, to notice every little thing like that.

Compare the one with DHD to the one with Bowser Jr... The one with BJ has the computers in gray with the levels at the top, while the one with DHD the characters are in color yet they have a computer level listed for them... Also the franchise symbols are in different places on both images.
(Also Shulks face ligns up perfectly with a picture of Little Mac, and that picture of Wario was found)
The leak is pretty much confirmed fake at this point.

The picture with DHD has no context, we have no idea what those levels mean. How do you know they're CPU levels? Nothing can be ascertained from that. Don't jump to conclusions.

Little Mac/Shulk face doesn't mean anything if you actually know anything about Photoshop. I could 'shop Little Mac's face to look even more different, it's meaningless. The Wario face isn't the same.

That is correct.
As for the percentages they don't show if you're not in a combat situation.
Judging my the levels under their player number it could be a different mode or waiting screen.

The one with levels but player colors could easily be Classic, whereas the one where it shows CPU colors could be regular VS. or a plethora of other theories...

Even it that weren't the case, it's hardly relevant. Photoshop is a lot more powerful a tool than people realise; you could photoshop Tom Selleck to look like Dr. Mario if you wanted to.

So, yeah. The whole leak could be a 'shop, but so could every picture of Gary Busey, and most people still believe in him.

The Wario face actually is the same, just with a thickened stache. And I know, we have no context for the DHD photo, however people playing the game have never had levels before, only computers. Until we find out some strange way that we have levels while playing, I think the leaker made a mistake there.

Well yeah, of course they do. The official art would have been created using Photoshop, or some other program.

The leaked renders look new, for the most part. Any similarities can be chalked up to coincidence as easily as to subterfuge.

you're right its gray but the CPU's do not display levels in matches also it does not say CPU it says player in the "leaked" images.
So its pretty much confirmed a different mode at this point.
Edit: Not that I'm saying its real but it can't be associated with a regular match.

Errr, yes, handicaps DO exist, I have definitely used them before. Amiibo WILL come and it's programmed in already. This is easier, and you can't patch NFC configuration in later. And what do you mean there's no possible mode to do that? There can be anything.

I stated when I read Gematsu. "If Pac-Man, Mii, and Chrom are playable, and both Palutena and Micaiah aren't I will not buy this game." But since it's just Pac-Man and Mii, Palutena is enough to balance this horrid roster.

I can't get a link, but it was on that CoroCoro released the 12th or 14th. Also, the circle thing isn't traditional Smash and wasn't seen on the initial picture for the games mode, so it must be unlockable...
