For the record, updating existing threads when possible is the better option, instead of making a new topic concerning the same thing. Posting here works too though.

Awesome work. Honestly see the improvement from your older work, and I saw you worked from books to get a better understanding of what you wanted to get onto the paper. This is something I've been told to do numerous times but rarely actually did, and I think I'd better a much more competent artist if I had lol. So I definitely think you've got the right mindset there.

But, I also stress the equal importance of just doing work without references. Imo this is how your personal style develops--you'll start seeing how you portray certain things like anatomy/character design and figure out what you enjoy drawing.
