Really? I dunno, I've just never found any sort of history interesting when it's taught in a class.

I think my professor put it well today:
"Usual history classes take place in the abstract. You imagine how something occurred with numbers and details and written accounts - and you form and interpret an idea from that. That's the typical history class. Art History is different in that you see a direct visual example of how it was. You blatantly see and follow the change without the hassle of severe interpretation."
It's very visual and you literally get to see the stories unfold - instead of just hearing about them.

To be honest, Art history would be a great course if I wasn't paying for it. I'd much rather take a big trip to an art museum in my own time. That's just me of course though, my preferences are with more traditional media, so it feels irrelevant to focus on it as a school course.

Yeah I hear you, but you might end up taking Art History courses whether you want to or not lol. I'm a studio major and they still require us to take 2 lower division and 2 upper division Art History courses in order to graduate. They want us to be well-rounded or some junk. "/ Guess it depends on where you go though.

Hey, what program do you guys use to make .gifs? I don't mean like internet humor .gifs. I'm working on a sprite sheet that I want to eventually make an animation(s?) out of. I tried Flash before, but for some reason there's these weird lines and dots covering the sprite when it's a .gif. And I can't seem to get a high enough FPS in Photoshop for the movement to look smooth.

I heard people making nice gifs in GIMP actually. I have no idea how you'd do that though... I never liked using photoshop because it was so choppy.
I also vaguely remember a program dedicated to what you're talking about, but I can't remember what it was called for the life of me.

I gotta say, I think paint is the definitive spriting package, unless you're working in high-res, then you might need a program with layers.
Edit: and I think jasc animation shop does a decent job with the Gifing part mostly if you aren't too fancy.

Yeah, I actually use PS for spriting (and, well... almost everything). Hi-res or bust. Layers just make things way more convenient.
I'll look into that jasc animation shop. As long as it's free. Financial aid got delayed... >:V

Nice global! Like radiating energy. Although to be a bit nit picky, there seems to some colour bleeding on Ike collar and lips, but still very good.
After watching the FoE cutscenes, I decided that I kind of like Ganon's design, seriously, and his voice.
Also in the next week we're off from school to do Work Experience, lol

No, I was seriously considering it though... In retrospect I think I should have.
I knew beforehand he was a pretty good D3 main, and Ness/Lucas vs. D3 is really an uphill battle. I was thinking of going MK even though my MK's not really that good, but I ended up just using Lucas since I'd used him the whole day... Bad move lol.
I realized I don't have an answer for D3. Ness/Lucas are pointless vs. D3 for me right now, I hate mirror matches... and I dunno how Wario does against him.
