This is something I've always wondered - why does Pyramid Head have such a huge following among Silent Hill fans? I've only partially played through the first game and watched a friend play through the whole series, but whenever it showed up (Silent Hill 2, I think?) I was just like "WHAT IS THAT GET IT AWAY"

Pyramid Head is just an interesting antagonist because hes so enigmatic. You dont get to hear his voice, see his face, know his motives, or know his past.
Somehow, by striking fear into the hearts of those who played Silent Hill 2, he also became a huge game icon.
(plus i think his disturbing 'habits' in SH2 amuse the fandom -shudders- SO CREEPY >__<)

Your shading is sooooo good. Really photo-realistic. The hand caught my attention especially because the really good shading.

The suggestion I'd make is include a background. That, or make her outline darker. I feel the outline being darker would help. Dunno why.

That piece was actually a request made to me by someone, they just wanted a plain portrait done with no bg. Usually I throw a little something simple in to help contrast, but it was less work for me.

I dunno about outlines, I don't like lines very much ;]

That graphics request thread was open for like a month and only one person volunteered to work on requests. I'll be surprised if suddenly people appear out of nowhere to work on a sig request. Good luck though.

Ya, realism and me don't mix toooo well. I do both black and white, or straight color, um...I like symmetry >_> so I usually have a balance on both sides of the invisible line I draw down the middle.
