I will be submitting as well before voting....

Seaside Cove Resort
A charming and tranquil beach resort complete with an ocean view, pool, swim up bar, tiki torches, and beach chairs and tables that can be damaged. In addition, every so often, a beach ball enters the fray. It's a smaller arena which allows for more combos.

Bottomless Atoll

It would be like this but smaller
The arena would be a smaller atoll. It is used as a scientific examination site, and thus there is glass covering the water in the center, allowing the fighters to view the Pokemon living in the reef below. The edges of the arena have several palm trees, and lots of beach equipment covers the edges.

The stage would be a medium sized stage.
View attachment 330803
Gigante Glade

A forest on top of some of the most fertile soil known to man, giant plants and fruits grow here due to the great growing conditions, and it's a popular breeding spot for grass pokemom.
With this in mind, we will be voting for our stage!

Please vote for your favorite stage!

Job #6: Submit Cameo Pokemon for Infernaus Caldera
We will be submitting cameo Pokemon for the Infernaus Caldera stage! These submissions will mean that the winners will be rendered ineligible for inclusion as a playable Pokemon. They should follow a Fire, Rock, or Ground-type pattern to fit with the stage.

Thanks to the Infernus Caldera's Volcano Theme, Slugma, Magcargo, Magmar, Magmortar, Rhydon, and Rhyperior will appear on the stage. Minior, Talonflame, and very rarely, Moltres, can be seen flying around in the sky. Groudon will also emerge occasionally to view the battle.

Hmmm....I kind of meant one submission per user but thats fine. If we get duplicate entries, I will just piggyback them together. I will probably go with a strawpoll on this one.

The following Pokemon will appear as cameos on the Infernus Caldera stage!

Slugma
Magcargo
Magmortar
Rhydon
Rhyperior
Minior
Talonflame
Moltres
Groudon

Please note these Pokemon are ineligible for future submissions

With that decided, we are moving into our next newcomer!

Job #7: Submit a Grass-type Newcomer

Grass-type as a basis for a newcomer won our Strawpoll voting! We will be reaching deep into the Grass-type library and pulling one out to use! We do have some restrictions though. It must be...

  • Not from Gen 1
  • Can't have Fighting as a secondary typing

That's it!

When submitting content, please provide the following information:

  • Name
  • Generation
  • Typing
  • It's Pokemon Moves
  • It's Burst Attack (This is because when we had a job for these, no one submitted content)
  • Why it should be included

Anyways, my submission is Sawsbuck
1632617279222.png

Sawsbuck would be in Spring Form, but if costumes are a thing it could be any of the four. Sawsbuck is from Gen 5 and is a Grass/Normal type. The moves it can use in the main games include Headbutt, Jump Kick, Leech Seed, Charm, Horn Leech, Rock Smash, Stomping Tantrum, Light Screen, Giga Drain, Synthesis, Worry Seed, Baton Pass, Wild Charge, Grass Knot, Swords Dance, Giga Impact, Shadow Ball, Rain Dance, Thunder Wave, Echoed Voice, Safeguard, Megahorn, Feint Attack, Sand Attack, Double Kick, Nature Power, and Double-Edge.
It's Burst Move would involve it creating a massive tree surrounding it, and using it as a hammer to ram into the foe, creating a massive explosion. Outside of the animation, it would glow green and have all the effects of a normal burst.

I believe it should be included as not many quadrupeds are in the game, and it would be a refreshing out of the box pick for the game. Gen 5 also is quite lacking in Pokemon.

The Queen of the Battle Ring, Tsareena

Now this is a weird choice, but Tsareena would fit some interesting niche combinations, she is a pure grass type pokemon debuting in Gen 7 in the Sun and Moon, she's an all female line (Gardevoirs are half male) something this game lacks, she says to have a personality of a cruel queen to her opponents, you know what this means, a rare female heel character.

Tsareena would have medium health, medium speed, and high attack power, she could use moves such as power whip and solar beam for long ranged attacks, payback, sweet scent and swagger to both be good status moves and fit her dirty heel playstyle, and her signature legs will give her DEADLY close range options such as Stomp, High Jump Kick, Mega Kick, Giga Impact, and of course her signature move Trop Kick.

Finally Her Berst attack turns her legs into long spear like appendages and would do a maneuver I would call the "Royal Pike" where she would rapidly do a quick series of quick piecing spears that would go though even the most thick skinned pokemon that is both as elegant as it is hardcore, overall an unorthodox but great choice for a newcomer. And her unique elements to her character would make her fit right into this game.

Torterra
Type: Grass/Ground
Pokémon Moves: Wood Hammer, Earthquake, Razor Leaf, Mega Drain, Vine Whip, Leaf Storm, Rock Tomb, Leech Seed, Stone Edge, Bulldoze, Frenzy Plant, Earth Power
Burst Move: Grand Earth Testament (Torterra slams it’s feet onto the ground which traps the opponent into the attack. It causes ripples along the ground which causes the floor to wave up and down. A mess of vines reach up onto the opponent from underneath and holds them still as these ground wave crescendoes into a mega earth tsunami on all four sides and reach ten stories tall. These waves then crash down in a natural fury.
Torterra would be an excellent addition into the roster as we are currently kissing a beefy, tanky character that has excellent defenses including super armor and can tank a damaging hit but also one that is slower. While Machamp and Charizard are heavyweights, they aren’t in the same class as Torterra. Torterra’s main playstyle is to absorb hits while powering through and unleashing by super damaging attacks.

Eldegoss

Eldegoss will use Leaf Tornado, creating three small tornadoes circling the player. These act as a shield. If struck, they will dissipate. They will last for 7 seconds before dissipating.

We will be voting on which Pokémon to include! I’m putting forth Darkrai but sadly don’t have time for a long post. The guy is dark and is interesting to say the least.

Here are your choices. Please vote for only one.
  • Empelion
  • Scizzor
  • Garchomp
  • Darkrai

Crypt of Confagrigus
A medium sized stage enclosed in what looks like an ancient crypt complete with sarcophagus, statues, torches burning eternally, and dust and sand that litters the floor. The entire stage has an eerie appearance to it as wisps of haze curls about the stage. Obviously, Confagrigus will occasionally emerge from the main sarcophagus.

By default, Crypt of Confagrigus wins the stage submission round.

Job #12: Submit a Heavyweight Newcomer

This character can be of any type from any generation. The character should consist the following traits:
  • Heavy
  • Superarmor
  • Tank
  • Powerful attacks

The Pokémon chosen to represent this archetype should also reflect this so using, say, Gallade wouldn’t be a inline with the job.

I’ll keep submissions open longer but a Thursday morning at the latest

here’s my submission!

Aggron
Beyond being one of my more favorite Pokémon, I think it has quite unique flair due to its typing as well as general bedtimes. Aggron seems perfectly designed to shrug off attacks as it powers through and destroys the opponents. It’s Pokémon attacks are Metal Claw, Rock Tomb, Headbutt, Iron Head, Take Down, Iron Tail, Iron Defense, Automitize, Heavy Slam, Metal Burst, and Flash Cannon. It’s Burst Form is Mega Aggron which grants it even more durability. It’s Burst Attack is Steely Resolve which causes it to stomp the ground which causes spear pillars to rise up around the opponent in an circular formation. Aggron roars which causes the pillars to home onto the opponent which smashes the opponent in between these pillars. Finally, Aggron stomps once more and the pillars become one; trapping the opponent into the steel before it bursts in sparkly metal flakes.

Copperajah

Copperajah is a Pokemon introduced in Gen 8 and as you can see, they are a giant elephant.

Copperajah would be unique being a quadruped and having a large trunk. Their moves fit the Heavyweight catergory too knowing things like Superpower and Heavy Slam

Hariyama
1633636703516.png

Hariyama is a heavyweight fighter that is very close quarters. It attacks with moves like Arm Thrust, Body Slam, Heavy Slam, Force Palm, Fire Punch, Knock Off, Vaccum Wave, Superpower, Chip Away, Rock Smash, and Bullet Punch. It's burst form causes it to gain a fiery red aura, and it's attacks are much stronger. It's burst move, Wave of 1000 Fists, sends an onslaught of Vaccum Waves and Arm Thrusts raining down on the opponent.

Based on not having any contenders…

An Undwrwater Theme wins by default! Man, what a nail biter!!!

Submit an Underwater Themed Stage
While the action wouldn’t take place under water per say, it would still be within a location where water was present all around it. The stage from the first game, Blue Dome, was an airtight dome located on the bottom of the seabed. Lugia was at times visible in the background. Please provide the name of the stage, an image is possible, how it looks, and how large it is.

Top Bottom
