I've got some questions about Skill Swap.

Example:

I am Manaphy. Manaphy (Hydration) uses Skill Swap on Mew (Pressure).

If Mew switches out, do I still keep Pressure?
If I switch out, does Mew still keep Hydration?
If Mew / Manaphy switch out and then back in, do we keep our new abilities?

I hacked a physically defensive Zapdos with static. It's really, really gay.

So POKeSAV works by connecting into the action replay and entering the codes? ...Interesting.

Does it have a way to make the pokemon shiny?
Yeah. There's a PID field and two buttons to the right of it - Generate & PID/IV. I'm not entirely sure what PID's are legal for Shiny Legendaries though. The Generate button is the one that allows you to make them shiny.

what's the set on it?

This is a silly question but it is kind of bothering me. Can a choice band dugtrio with max investment in attack KO a subpunch Azumaril that only has 67% hp left with sucker punch?

Standard subpunching set has 252 EVs, so Jolly Dugtrio does 28.22% - 33.42% and Adamant Dugtrio does 30.94% - 36.63%, meaning that you have a very low chance (~5%) if Jolly and around 50% if Adamant.

Suppose you're building an offensive set for a pure Fire-type Pokemon (for example, Typhlosion). After the obvious STAB Fire attack, what type of attack should I choose? From what I've read, a Grass attack is popular. What would be the best type of attack for the third attack slot?

For a typhlosion, I prefer a Sunny beamer with a STAB fire, Sunny Day, Solar Beam, and HP Ice...

BUt it's probably not the best choice, I am just bias because it looks cool

HP Ice should do nicely though

I'm not asking about what moves I should use, I'm asking what types of moves give me the best coverage.

Ice, Fire, Earth, and Grass for typhlosion

Depending on the pokemon, Earth and Rock deals at least neutral damage to all pokemon but bronzong..

with earth, rock, and fire...you should be able to hit anything for neutral or more

I saw that while I was on smogon. I then posted in the chat that "you know you have the good life when after sex instead of cuddling you play pokemon together."

I have noticed a lot more servers on smogon, will smashboards ever get there own server?

Also what moves and EVs should a dual screening Uxie have?

Could work in OU, since there are more setuppers there.

However, there's also more Taunters. Take your pick.

So I don't actually own a DS (or a fast computer). I've played through Diamond and Platinum on NO$GBA. I recently played through Crystal and Fire Red because DPP stresses my computer too much and my emulator slows down, which can be annoying. Are there any ROM hacks of Platinum specifically designed to be more slow-computer-friendly?

On shoddy, are movesets that have egg moves AND event moves illegal...?

...Since event pokemon don't have egg moves and a certain pokemon can't learn event moves

As far as I know it's legal. If I had to guess, there's probably a way for every breedable Pokemon to gain its egg moves as well as some of its event moves just by breeding within its own egg groups.

I'm looking for a Pokémon that has the pokerus and still has it and not cured of yet:p
I honestly don't care what pokemon it is as long as it has the pokerus. Just tell/PM me what you would like for it and I will see if I have that pokemon for you.:)

I got you covered, man. If you have a Reaper Cloth or a Modest Ditto, I'd prefer either of those, but if not it doesn't really matter.

Speaking of which, I'm looking to trade something for a Modest Ditto.

Would you be interested in a Treecko/Piplup/Beldum/Riolu (The Riolu i'm offering knows Blaze Kick :3) for that pokemon with the pokerus you have?

I'm requesting a trade. I'd like to trade my Shiny Kricketune for a Light Ball Pikachu that's preferably female. Think someone can do this with me? You get a Shiny. ^^

In the Air, Using Up b as an offensive move
Does Pain Split fail if the user is at full health?
No. Pain split evens the two pokemons health, so if you were at full health it would either a) decrease the health of your opponent to be the same as yours(assuming they have more overall HP than your pokemon) or b) lower your health to be the same as your opponent.

I feel like a complete idiot for asking this, but what are the beneits of having a good rapid spinner, such as Foretress, on your team?

I know what they do, it's just the benefits I don't really understand.

Assumptions:

Your opponent's lead sets up SR
Each of your Pokemon switches in an average of 2 times
Each of your Pokemon takes an average of 12.5% damage from SR

That adds up to a total of 150% damage dealt to your team.

In addition, Pokemon like Salamence and Gyarados that take extra damage from SR has more opportunity to set up.
