dam wtf did i miss L.I.? Evo? (dont really care since items were on lol) PLAYNTRADE? i'm sure the ROB player that won EVO thinks he's high and mighty but if u challenge him to a mm with items off he's like wha no items? that not how u play brawl!

well cass, you see that's what separates us. You like to make friends w/ the kids in the smash community A.K.A. (Wes calls them : Internet Thugs) who are all talk on the boards but in person they're as quiet as an alter boy. Atleast the friends I managed to make and keep for over 6 YEARS are honest true to the word ppl. Not to mention when I got into the smash community when melee was out, WOW! the community was a hell of alot different. I dont understand alot of you in the smash community. why would you split money w/ sum1 u only know their gamertag. its freaking sad. so what if you see them at the weekly all the time, does that mean you know them??? I like to keep my circle of friends very small. An INVITE ONLY type of party not a circus "COME ONE, COME ALL". when one of these kids does you dirty, then you'll know what im talking about. Plus do you honestly think D.A. is the only group of friends I have. News Flash, alot of my other friends dont even know what smash is.

I want to let everyone know...not evry1 in the smash community is this way, but you know who you are. and if you dont, your in denial.

Shouldn't you take the "Every Friday" alert out of the title, since our weeklies are on hold, and they might not be Friday's anymore?

If they are Fridays again, you could just put it back.

Pretty sure everybody would want these to be on Fridays. Sats generally have other tourneys, weekdays we have work / school the day after and have to be up... But yeah, might wanna put (ON HOLD) or something in the thread title.

lol i just wanna see cass respond. well in my defense i split the money cause that's just how i am. the same way i let people in training grounds for free or pay people to get in the tournament is just how i am. i like to give. i split cause i know some either need the money just like me, but i don't need 70 percent of it. to the respond of me workin in play n trade, well see and it won't be this friday cause the people are goin to canada or something like that. if they let me work there, i won't be on this thread no more. i will start my own thread and update ya from there. whether ya go on it or not, it's up to ya.

one thing i can't take away from brawl is that this music is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo beast. if u think not, go to port town aero dive which has like the best soundtracks..... fire field is one of the best songs period. dialga/palkia batle at spear pillar is also the truth. makes me wanna three stock basic sausage 2day lmao.

I don't see what wrong with being friendly with people, i mean i would not trust people who i rarely know with say my wallet but i wouldnt mind having a little faith in people.

Also as "Internet thug" (olny during meet up) i tend to stay a i little bit quiet for a while just because Iam really Crazy :chuckle:

also there a few(very little.) people who tend to be mean torward alot of the newcomers like me.....

OMFG ... brian comes back from FL and sees bad bad things ... i'm not trying to bring anything back up cuz i'm definitely a mature mutha effa but ummm just saying that was definitely a VH1 reality show FOR REALS ... bum we need to speak about the weeklies ur tryin to throw ... cuz i want to correspond with everything equally and hopefully brawl heads can come and have fun with melee cuz melee heads always support brawl because we like chilling with ya ...

well at least thats why i go ... (also because ike is the best character in the world and should b banned because he can kill people with a flick of the c-stick LOL)

so yea ... i'm sad my sister isn't working now ... she was all happy and **** ... grrr this angers me ... thus i'll get her a better job ...

also ... to the commentary matches ... see guys thats wat melee is about ... fox just running all over ur *** ... LMAO ... no no but seriously its about how much fun things are with it cuz of speed ... NOT BASHING BRAWL ... but doubles in SMASH is amazing =] ...

Brawl and Melee can definitely co-exist Alukard. It actually already is. Lately a lot of big tournaments for Brawl are also hosting Melee so don't worry. ^_^

yea thats wat i'm saying ... but i need the dates to co exist as well so we all have good turn outs and have fun =] ... those videos really made me remember/miss melee

its funny that u should say this. i just made a blog on AiB about melee and brawl co-existing and basically how i think it just doesn't work.

my opinion on that subject is just because the two games share the name "Super Smash Bros." doesn't make them the same at all. i try and play both, but the more i play brawl, the more i start to suck at melee. and it's like that for everyone else i've spoken to about the subject.

so if we keep having melee/ brawl tournaments, the brawl tournaments will look fine while the quality of melee tournaments suck. (assuming all players enter both events)

i've come to the conclusion that in order to maintain a high level of melee play, you have to not play brawl at all. But Brawl players get to play both since all they have to do to get back into brawl mode is slow down.

Basically, melee / brawl tournaments won't work if the quality of melee tournaments mean anything to you at all. i really feel like they should be treated as two separate communities.

i agree as u see i said co exist literally ... like i run my melee and they rnu their brawl ... but i kno some people that play brawl who said they would come and play melee once in a while and i dont mind going over and messing around with brawl ... but wat i'm saying is that we need to discuss dates and stuff ^_^

btw ... i suck at melee soooooo bad ... even more then b4 ... LOL but my ike is superb

IMO i think playing brawl helps some players. i think it depends on the person. some people get better from it. some get worse. at first playing brawl made my melee skills worse. but after a bit of it, it made me better at least mindgame wise. but i think its just something that depends on the player. then again maybe its because i play brawl and melee evenly.(even tho i don't like brawl much either) Its just an opinion tho,. i may be wrong =P
