lol @ combo breakerHi Im daizy!
Get a new one >.> problem solved...Dont play melee if you lost your memory card.
they should play melee even if they lost their memory card. u start off with falcon, what more do u need?Dont play melee if you lost your memory card.
Brawl is pretty fun when you sit down and play with somebody who knows the fundamentals.
You dont need a memory card for super Isai to get 5 stocks on the bowser challenge.Dont play melee if you lost your memory card.
Well who doesnt want to play melee?just gtfo and go play melee
the people who dont want to play melee dont have to, you have no right to tell them.
so goodIt'scalledBREAKaYOURjokeBRAWL-__-!!!!!
The point is:I don't get what's his point.
It's because of fanboys. Can't believe this thread got so many replies

Smash boards does have the mechanics of a final fantasy universe, we all know it lolWhy hasnt Pliskin graced this thread with his awesomeness yet?
*Summons pliskin*
Very.It's because of fanboys.
Since when did a random Brawl player offending Melee justify organised insinuation against Brawl and anyone who honestly prefers it better than Melee? It doesn't. Flame wars are pointless, everyone's a bigot in them no matter what they say their motives are. That's not a good thing. And don't act like we do things Brawlers don't...y'all aren't innocent lil' angels either y'know...
There is more technical skill in MeleeVery.
I don't get where the "Brawl is not competitive" argument comes from. I know it's from the absence ofexploitsATs in Melee, but that doesn't change the fact that Brawl does have a competitive scene. It's got tournaments, it's got people discussing at an in-depth value about the competitive play, etc. I don't demand Melee fans to switch to it, nor that they appreciate it, just acknowledge - vocally or silently or otherwise, it doesn't matter - that it does have competitive value and let those who do prefer it stick to it.

So stop being a bigot, bigot.
We know that's how you feel. We've known since the start. I'm not going to go into a debate about which is better, because I'm sure there are several people who've discussed it before in far greater detail than I could hope to.There is more technical skill in Melee
There is just as much strategic skill, but melee is faster so less time to think.
Captain falcons knee can connect.
I wouldnt use the phrase "more competitive", I would just say it has an insanely greater amount of depth to it (which can easily be interpreted as being more competitive)
Oh and....
Play Melee.
Having a competitive scene =/= being a very competitive game.Very.

Get a sense of humor, humorless person.Since when did a random Brawl player offending Melee justify organised insinuation against Brawl and anyone who honestly prefers it better than Melee? The Melee fans generally do respect that people like the game. But we don't -- and don't have to, if you ask me -- acknowledge Brawl as a decent competitive game. It's the reason most of them don't like Brawl. What I am asking is that it be understood that Brawl does have its own competitive fanbase, does have competitive merit, does have points that make it preferable to Melee in terms of a serious game in the eyes of some people, and that the Melee fans respect that. It's not that hard.

typo ;-;Stay inside and lrn2spell, or at least learn how to contribute something.
>>;Thou shalt call everyone who doesn't play Melee Brawl noobs.
I'm fine with people that play and like Brawl, I'm not fine with people thinking it is on or even near the level of depth or competitiveness of Melee. Brawl is a great game for casual players, no one is denying that. But arguing that it's a good game for competition... that's a whole different story.Thou shalt call everyone who doesn't play Melee Brawl noobs.
fixedWow, I can't believe a joke turned into such a heated argument.

again, you do not need a fast paced game with combos left right and center to be good/fun dont even deny it. but if you think you do, you must have originally played mortal kombat or street fighter...(ssb64 was my 1st fighting game before anyone says anything.). i give you my word brawl will outlast melee, even if its not in the "pros" playing it, i wonder how many casual smashers/young children stopped playing melee before brawl was even conceived? i was one of them... melee might require more skill to handle the physics, perform combo's, andHow is Brawl more like "Smash Bros" when Melee came out first and set the standard? If anything, Brawl is the black sheep of the Smash Brothers family, as it has no combo game to it and is by far the least competitive. So with that reasoning, don't play Brawl, play SSB64 or Melee.
Melee set no standard, as far as im concerned. i liked ssb64 more then melee... and im pretty sure ssb64 set the standard... which brawl is more like then melee.
Brawl is dying in a lot of places already. Chicago area and a lot of the Midwest has gone back to Melee already, a game that is 7 years old, and quit playing Brawl, a game that hasn't even reached its one year anniversary yet. Melee's time is far from over, it will outlast Brawl.
no its not like that, its like people in this thread, and all over north america and wherever else for that matter, that are trying to destroy a game that is 100% better(melee has no online, id rather a laggy one then none, thanks) by saying stop playing brawl all together and just play melee, a game that is pretty much a mortal kombat/street fighter physics with smash bros rules.... how this is right, and fair to those that like brawl, i fail to see."Melees time is over"?
Im sorry, thats like saying "Sorry, but you cant play your NES anymore. Please update yourself to the Wii instead."
Games/consoles times are NEVER over. You can play them as long as you want.
To be honest, I dont prefer Melee or Brawl over the other. I dont want to explain my reasons, so Ill leave it be.
