you dont need to pay for t.v license if you only use it for /
games/pc
How would you be able to prove that you weren't using it for TV if they checked up on you?
No aerial would mean you're not using it for TV but they would just think you hid it.

I'm pretty sure they're d;ckheads like that : /

so tell me if i have rthis correct -

8 pools
16 seeds
2 seeds per pool...

an extreamly predictable top 16? theres always a chance people like me will get unlucky with a totaly outmatched fuzzy/prof/va, but all in all shouldent it be toootaly random?

then again, it does mean (provided ben deems me good enough to be a seed, difficult as he hasnt seen me play good people and this is my 1st national) ill definatly make it into brackets, and will have a fairly good idea of how my next opponent plays.

so lets say pools of 8 ideally, this means that the top 4 go through? its kinda unfair, its like if 2 sweet a$$ players are seeding, and only the top 3 go through there is effectively only 1 place for the others to take. even if its top 4, that makes 2 spots up for grabs outta the lesser 6 =/

or lets say i end up not seeding, that means that 1 group in particular - prolly 1 o r 2 more only have ONE / ZERO places.

this is how i see it, perhaps sum1 could outline the good points of seedng or maybe i got it all wrong. IMO no1 cares if prof/fuzzy get knocked out before brackets (not that its even an opotion), wud make for a far less predictable tourney. aahhh, then on the other side u have swag players like tamoos crew (minus tamoo) getting through to brackets.. do i understand? u tell me!

When did I post any of this?? This is my tournament I am running it and I havent said anything about pools or seeds (apart from there will be pools and seeds)

Inertia- AWESOMENESS THAT YOU ARE COMING. Also, let me know if you're driving down as your car may be usefull.

All of the saints will be at this tournament!!!!! :) crew battles people!!

It's generally the norm for tournaments to have say 2 go through in pools of 4 or 5 with there being a top seed and a high seed in each. You really do have to earn your place in the bracket by beating at least one seed i.e. beat at least one person that is very likely better than you. You may think this is harsh but thats what you need to do. Bear in mind that the seeded players would have proven themselves one way or another and earned they're spot as a seed.

This is true, the bracket would be bull**** anyway if we got a whole bunch of random people in it, the placement of the tournament is meant to represent the skills and effort of the players.

So if people want to place higher, you know what they should do.......IMPROVE!!!

I agree, I wasn't playing good either which was clear in the video but I watched the vidoes over in detail to see what I was doing wrong and right and everyone will be in for a nice juicy suprise.

This is the first tournament where I am actually going to step up, I have been just cruising in my current placement in the UK, trashtalking as usual and just performing decent, not making too much effort, but now I am aiming for first on a serious note.
So your gonna see a changed fox and fox only.
I was impressed by some of the things that you did but felt like you could step it up a lot. The waiting in your game is impressive, I feel like next time we play it's going to be a bit more of a campathon.

prof is very good at waiting for his chance, that's one of the things I find frustrating because against most people I can bait things well..I don't usually have a clue when he's going to attack or how.

Never played a fox like prof :/

You suck...........sorry reflex lol.
Nah jkin.

But seriously though I know it will be good the next time we play each other, I see it being very likely us playing in tournament and we'll just have to see how it goes from there lol.
I feel you defintely, weren't consistent in some areas, like you didn't chaingrab me at all when you got a grab even though you attmept to a few times, prob something to do with pressure.

Anyway I know your peach will have stepped up the next time I play it so it will be fun atg PH2.

:O A compliment from Fuzzy lol.

I find it the MOST frustrating play you lol, as I said to Jo3 you're the only person I play and I feel like they are still in control even if I am winning the match lol.

loool Yeah, I am still in IWR obv so if we play another crew I will be there but if it's IWR vs OOC I have to join OOC, it would make it fairer anyway otherwise it would be **** lol.

But yeah that sounds good, it would be fun and I know my crew would be down.

I'm only confident and in control when I really want to win, go into that mode where I can ignore everything, even commentary.. last time it happened was when i was playing you on PS, and round Dash's place lol

loool You do realize for the PS match you weren't nearly as much in control as you thought you were, I seriously lost alot of motivation to try in the tournament after just about beating VA lol.

Which is why I stepped it up the next game cos you got a bit too happy.

loool It was ****, whether or not it is a john it is the fact of the situation and just so you know I won't be playing like that again.

I will be ****** you again and they will have to put some Pendulum music to it again.

not johns really, after a really tough match you lose confidence/concentration/motivation. it's pretty hard to pull yourself back up to fight it out in grand finals right away....not like you'd know.

also yeah you can't bait prof, like the **** EVERYONE gets hit by that you would normally do he will wait out and grab you. I noticed it a lot.

looool.

I seriously did lose motivation though, I remember someone asking me to do Grand Finals straight after and I said I needed to rest lol.
Whether or not it is a john it is still defintely the truth of the situation since john sort of implicates that what you're saying is not viable but sorry it is.

I didn't actually notice that thing about the grabs you were saying  prob cos i'm just used to the way I play lol.

yeah I like how he gets his grabs, also prof

My yoshi vs your fox £1 mm BO5
lol OK.

Easy money

Dave, have you actually found a way to practice now? Does this mean you might not be **** and out of practice at the tourny? lol
Forget about Dave I want YOU practising like **** before this so we can **** in teams lol. But seriously, DO IT!

Lol indeed.

Every wednesday at soha's for like 8 hours or something since I'm free 11 onwards.
Cambridge this Sunday.
Tamao the week before the tournament.
A random weekend where I go home and practice ATs in a darkened room if I feel like it.

Maybe more soha visiting too, depending on whether he gets annoyed at the excessiveness or not.

Hurrah.

And sure Tamao, as long as you don't mind the floor of a small-ish room. Do you move much in your sleep? : D

Edit: Oh lol *smacks head*. I don't have a set-up so (with his permission, of course.....) we'll go to soha's anyway. But yea you can stay at mine still if you want.
Who're you gonna be playing Dave? Luigi?

Falcon and/or Luigi.

I want to play with both of them, see which one I'm liking the most and go from there.
But yea.... lots and lots of practice, lol.

Edit: This TV license thing has turned into something epic-awesome.
If I notify them then I can have a tv for games without it (just make sure i don't have an aerial and get white noise on every channel).

Cheers Fuzzy/Bullet Bill.

lol I didn't bother notifying anyone when I was in halls in first year and I had a TV that was set up for games, and I was fine (I didn't pay for a license).

A few other things:
-Looks like calum's gonna be away that weekend (he booked his train tickets after the tournament was confirmed, but didn't bother checking when it was!) So our epic crew battle may have to wait - or we'll just take you out with less of us. Either way is fine by me. We're not gonna be the worst crew in the country, **** it!

-Pizza prices have gone up to 3 for £11 the last time I looked! =@.@= Inflation is a terrible thing

-My student loan STILL hasn't come through, so I'm gonna hold off all mm offers until it does (if it ever does) (though it was only jo3 that wanted one so far, so that's not really an issue :p)

Also I want to ***** about not being on anyone's seed lists when I beat j3ly the last time we met in tourney and L-J the last time we met when ridiculous stages weren't allowed.

...That's all for now.

Edit: Tamoo is a tw@.

lol Can't you still watch tv on the sly and easily not get caught?
Yea you could, in theory. But since I live in student accommodation atm, it is HIGHLY likely that at some point during the year I'll get checked. 160 people living in one building? Prime target mehinks, lol.

Edit: Or not? Whatever, all I care about is I can have a legitimate set-up.

No peach?

Meh, imo ur best bet but whatever...
Well, I don't know her that well if I'm honest. I mean, sure, I'm consistently moderately good, but I don't really feel the drive to try and improve her. Whereas with luigi and falcon I do, or at least at the moment. Might just be foolish ignorance ^^

The only real downside I can see in the near future is vs. falcos, but then again I don't even know what I do with Peach to do alright against them. Whereas I definitely know what I'm NOT doing with Falcon and Luigi, i.e. visible room for improvement.

Edit: I guess we'll see if I made the right choice when we MM each other.... ;)

Don't forget you were the only person other than Fuzzy to get into Lyon brackets! : D

Edit: Tamoo is a tw@.
Edit: Sleeping now.... I have a cold and don't want to waste valuable practice time tomorrow feeling sorry for myself.

Oh woooow, Lyon, I can't believe i didn't make those pools, I'd **** them now

And that edit sounded rather uncharaceristically emo of you

Also, shall we just do the mms at L-J's place? Save time whilst at the actual tournament

Can't you just hide the freeview box and the aerial or something before they walk in lol.
Cos i'm sure they can't barge into your room.

I have a tv in my house which I watch and play games on. The tv license man came into my room and was you like you have to buy one. I was like no I only play games so it's not fair get out, and eventually he did. Also you don't even have to let them in, they just mail you a million times in first year.

I agree with VA's method lol.

Tamoo - I would stash it away thirty million times before I pay for having it, that may be like that cos i'm black though lol.
If your door has that little eye thing then you will know who it is anyway.

Clockmire you have to stand up for yourself though if someone says something and get that TV in there cos I know you're the type of person who might get nervous in that situation lol.

EMERGENCY - I just spoke to Gantz and he told me HE IS NOT SCARED!!!!!! People need to worry about playing him now in the tournament because he is not scared, people in OOC who are not scared must be awared of.....
