You and me both. The closest thing I have been to is a choir "party" with the other choir kids [which I was invited to because I was in choir, not because they necessarily wanted me] (which people were like, this ain't even close to a party [while we were there]) and Smashfests with people who are mostly all out of college already. I don't think either counts...

I actually don't really have friends, so I don't have people to hang out with or whatever. My weekends consist of hoping a Smashfest will be held somewhere, going to the Triweekely people've started up if I can, or else just playing single-player video games or practicing Smash (and my homework). So that may be why I don't really enjoy it much...

EDIT: I have no relation to the current title of "Still hungover in my shorts"... I'm sober and wearing jeans and I just wrote a paper for a class.

This is a perk for premium users though. Don't know if it's also a staff perk though.

FZ is now full of Old Spice, SCHWARZENEGGER quotes, and hundreds of Mario Party coins that I had to ****ing steal back with three Boos in a row.

He is now queued up to be full of the Alamo, Big-as-**** Lou's Pizza, and potentially full of drank (and possibly become the Pokemon Master) by the end of Friday night.

We don't need parties (other than Mario and WiiU), we just need games, gatherings, andfood. Since high school, this is what was brought into our Brawl scene.

Since high school, I loved to drink Dr. Pepper all day and eat honey buns.

Now I hate them and prefer coke and pizza.

I'm getting ****ing old.

Bravely Default looks like a satisfying experience, I can't wait to purchase it

Blazblue needs to be on Wii U, that way I won't be getting the console for just ONE game (Smash Bros)

My sister got Bravely Default, but I haven't played it. Still need to get around to beating Tales of Graces (I dropped that game like when school started last September), Tales of Vesperia (playing it now) and Project X Zone (in Chapter 38). I also want to get around to practicing Smash more (I don't do that much) so not sure I'll play it.

She also sometimes gets irritated when I get farther than her in a video game she buys, and I can move through games quickly (or like molasses thanks to grinding and making sure to hit all the side quests) so I won't play it until she's beat it, I think.

I also need to start Lightning Returns at some point (preferably before July, because by then all my promo bonuses will have expired that I got for pre-ordering).

Mario Kart 8, X, Dankey Kang: Tropical Freeze, Bayonetta II, Super Mario 3D World, Wind Waker HD, Wonderful 101, Game & Wario, Hyrule Warriors, the eventual main franchise Zelda and Mario games for WiiU. Yeah, only one game.

*Doesn't have a WiiU*

Dankey Kang: Tropical Freeze is the only game anyone really needs to get for the Wii U.

You forgot Pikmin 3 on your list.

Oh, well I'm only interested in fighters these days. Smash, and BlazBlue are about it (professionally); everything else can go melt in hot butter for all I care *shrugs*

Spoiler alert.

Nah, just kidding, it's just a whole bunch of replies.

In no particular order:

Anyway, payday is almost here, I didn't get to work last thursday and friday because I got "sick". Check will be dangerously low, and we have bills to pay.
Feel dat. Apparently I had two timecards to submit this week and only heard of one, so I get to wait another week for money.

But the money ran out Wed. So gonna be an interesting week.

How to Train Your Dragon is better than anything any other animation company has put out recently, save for maybe Despicable Me.
Second.

Hello my beautiful pika's, I'm back on smashboards and will be watching the thread and posting again
Believe you were before my time, but welcome back.

I never went to parties in high school because I was never invited.
Also my issue more often than not.

Most parties in HS were like the video for TV Party by Black flag but with alcohol instead of TV and Abercrombie wearers instead of punks from the 80's.
That video is kind of what I imagine movie night would be in person.
Naturally I'd be the chap passing out early on the couch.

does four-six people playing smash and consuming dangerously unhealthy amount of doritos and mountain dew count as a party?
if so, i go to parties all the time
It does, and dammit man, hook me up.

Im in texas

Had good times in Texas. Is it still hot?

Also head's been firmly up Bravely Default for a while now. Seen you on once or twice too. Chapter 6, just maxed out the crew's personal levels, going for jobs now.

Got strategies all up and down. You got questions, PM me.

Open invitation to anyone else, as well.

Personal Preferences > Smash 4 Main > C. Falcon > Preferences > Smash 4 Post Background..
Now if only I could put shades on it, my day would be complete.
Also that's an odd way to spell Vinyl, man.

We need pictures.

Also hear hear.

Not long gone.
Good, because I haven't had a proper conversation with you yet.

This amuses me immensely and I have no clue why.

I could understand that, except:

Bravely Default looks like a satisfying experience, I can't wait to purchase it
At any rate I'm only grabbing a WiiU for Smash and the inevitable new Zelda game myself, so I can't say much.
That's not to say that I won't pick other games up, but it is to say I won't purchase the system until I see one of those two hit shelves.

Well, proffesionally speaking, fighters are all I care about. I'll still play a good RPG though, I like to lose myself in the storyline *smile*

Tales of Vesperia is pretty good if you have an Xbox 360.

Finished that stupid ***** of a paper (hint: the asterisked word starts with an f and ends with a udge). It ended up being 21 pages (but the parts had been spread out - this was the part that was supposed roughly 5-8 pages (ended up at like 9 for me) and then compiling it with the other stuff we'd done). Stupid EAAPPSSA.

I think Redfeatherraven managed to quote everyone since his second-to-last post in his last post.

except me?

21 pages you say...I can't imagine the strain in your writing hand, but then again I may be able to relate given I practice piano *giggle*

Nah. Didn't have anything for PZ or Klo at the time either.

But since I'm here snippets for the three of you:

PZ: Hey PZ, keep being awesome.

Klo: Next movie night time duly noted and will attend. Will get proper blitzed to tolerate World War Z.

Thor: Shorts are cool. Also sympathies and wise bits: high school sucks plenty in its own ways, but make the best of freedom from (most) responsibility while you have it. That's what makes it kind of awesome too.

Oh, and when you do start drinking, hide everyone's cell phones before you start. Can't end up on the internet tomorrow if nobody's got a camera tonight.
Also feel free to just call me Red. Whole thing's a mouthful.

Ah yes, unless you're spoiled like me, then enjoy your youth (although I'm quite young [and non-aging apparently] myself to be saying that)

The freedom you have at this moment is incredible, and you may not realize it; your mind may still be sleeping, like mine, blind to the many opportunities around

While I appeared in that collapse as quoted, I wasn't the one that said such statement.
I don't disagree, I just didn't do it,

That is completely correct. Somehow the collapse smushed your reply in with Rei's one post down.

EDIT: I located the error and corrected it, the collapse is accurate again.

And now a few more:

I would like IRL movie night to happen now. Let's make it happen, everypika!
If I can manage the scratch and the time, I'd be in.
Key word is if, there.

No, irl movie night shouldn't have anything to do with any tournament. We should have it on some random Thursday, and we should all meet up in Philly since that's not too far away.

We should just grab the members of Black Flag, decide on a movie and show up at someone's house spontaneously.

Well, we were all going to show up at your house with a movie and our lovely smiles but since you revealed the secret money trees we wont.

Bobby, would you like to be a "surprise" host of PGD movie night?

I strongly dislike people knowing where I live since I am a musical scientist, and prefer to be to myself during my hours of study

What is it going to be, a horror movie?

Only thing you're worthy of is a slow badge for that numb thing you believe to be a brain...no mister, that is a peanut

If I were to buy everybody something, I'd buy Apple Pie. Does anybody think there is such a thing as too generous though?
