Genesis was my first console, non-fancy one. Then my mom sold it +10 games and 5 controllers for $5 at a garage sale. Sad times.

I think I've had a console from every company except for Xbox. ****ing hate their controllers.

Never had a Dreamcast, though, which I highly regret.

I think I've owned every main console system at some point or another except for the SNES.
...And the first Xbox. :applejack:

Dang I went to Dallas :(
When I was a kid I found a Sega Genesis at a yard sale with like 10 games for 5 bucks.

Best $5 I ever spent as a child.
Still had every Nintendo system though.

And then when I was ~16 I got a PS2 solely for Kingdom Hearts.

Ooo, console histories.

Let's see if I can still use collapse tags and save the rest of you some TL;DR.

Got weaned on an Atari 7200, then bought the Genesis, then got an old-school Game Boy.
Got an NES and SNES and more Genesis games from my uncle. He worked at a movie rental store and when games couldn't be rented out anymore he kept them.
Eventually he got a PS1 and I ended up with that too.
I pretty much spazzed when I read Geo's post.
Kept up with every Game Boy at the moment of release up to the original Advance.
Then I got Broke.
Lost the Game Boy streak when I couldn't hit up the SP. Couldn't get my hands on another console for years. Did a lot of PC gaming anyway, so wasn't a thing.

Finally picked up a used Gamecube, and then a Wii, due to Melee and Brawl. Picked up a 360 too, but it's been languishing.

Mostly do PC gaming these days. Between Emulators and Steam I got almost everything I need.
Also Steam sales dear god.

I still have my doubts.

Although he's a KH fan, so all is forgiven in the eyes of the Kween.

I found an SNES at goodwill once but it was reserved. I still have Super Mario World and Turtles In Time laying around somewhere so having an SNES again would be rad.

Itty bitty INPO committee.

I hate you :glare:
I was waiting for this.

I was not disappointed.

I have a computer /buzzkill

~auto said it best; we all have computers.

Not going to hate, though. It's how I game too these days.

One of the best games ever from my childhood!

...but which?

I may actually be playing some Smash this evening, first time in a year. Anyone care to take bets on how badly I'll be curbstomped?

I actually meant TMNT Turtles in Time. You'll be fine, it's like riding a bike. I play 2v2 with friends most nights outta the week. I frequently do things that amaze people. It would be great if I was able to stream it.

I appreciate the sentiment, but I was never very good to begin with.

To continue the analogy, my bike has no wheels and is pulled by a sled team of two hamsters and a chinchilla.
Chinchilla's not looking so good, either.

Weld on a floodlamp that turns on whenever it operates.

Never fumble for your toast in the dark again.
