It's actually funny you mention teching out of fear, because I feel more than half of my teching is probably fear or intimidation-based.

I don't really see a whole mindset behind the action of teching itself, only behind the direction and what they're doing in the middle of a combo. A whole lot of people just hope for a combo drop, and quite a few don't even pay attention to what they're getting combo'd by, so they hold down-back or back and hold a button when they're in the air to autotech; understanding this tendency is a big part of learning how to successfully get a reset.

If you'd like, I could PM things to help you out. It would make practicing go a lot smoother since you'll know what to concentrate on.

Also kinda surprised at people not teching. I won't drop the second knockdown if the connection is good. If people are trying to get away by having another failed tech, I can still apply a reset.

Jam play Labrys. He has to mash out or do GC. He doesn't have much options lol. And you shouldn't get hit if you're doing frame traps right since her 5A and 2As aren't fast like some characters.

And you just play strange. Too many failed burst baits by dropping combos. You tend to jump or backdash on people knockdowns if you aren't doing a reversal. The lag kinda helps your DP work though since it messes up people's safe jump timings. Also I wouldn't DP to AA and then do it again when it whiffs. You kinda play like your Falco, I guess. lol
