Here's a protip for all of you: Most pros aren't rabid fanboys. Using a character because you like her is all well and good, but pros play to win. Why should they want to use a character who is clearly in the worser faction of the roster when they could use a character with whom they'll actually succeed? Many of the loyalists in this thread sicken me, honestly.

I'd just like to point out that out of all the boards for characters that got nerfed, the Peach boards seem to be the only one that still thinks she's anywhere near top tier and flames anyone who quits Peach/says she is bad. The Samus, Captain Falcon, Ganon, Jigglypuff and Sheik boards accepted it and are very kind to those who don't want to go on with that character. They've accepted that their character isn't as good as last time and are already finding all kinds of ways to make their character as good as the can. Any flaming only lasted a couple days and everyone moved on. They're not in denial.

Peach boards, you've got to move on! You're falling behind! While the other boards are already finding ways to make the best of their nerfed characters, you're still here arguing! This won't get anything done! I know some of you have Brawl, bust out those controllers and show people what Peach can still do.

Yes it may be upsetting hearing people tell you the bad points of your character, but I think it's a good thing. It's good to know where Peach is lacking so you can figure out how to make up for that in other areas. It's good to know the good points and bad points of your character. I know, I mained G&W in Melee. I will say this, Brawl Peach is WAY better than Melee G&W. And I still found ways to win with G&W in Melee. Like Gimpyfish said, Accept Your Character's Weaknesses!

I main Puff too, and I've checked those sub-boards. There are NOT angry bitter ex-players. There's no hate for those characters. This Peach hate is ridiculous.

People ARE trying to get better with what Peach has.

I know, I mained G&W in Melee. I will say this, Brawl Peach is WAY better than Melee G&W. And I still found ways to win with G&W in Melee.

Tell me about it... I didn't quit KIRBY from 64 to Melee. That's exactly my point, will these bitter ex-Peach players EVER stop? We want to play with Peach, we'll found ways to win with Peach.

Accept Your Character's Weaknesses!

We do, we know she's not as effective anymore, some of her vital moves were nerfed. Now, it'd be nice if these guys would stop flaming.

All the people who are backing Peach have accepted that she got nerfed and has new weaknesses. None of us have said anything about tiers. And if you look, there are threads where people are looking for new techniques and what not. It's just that everybody has an opinion, but not everybody has Brawl so these threads get more activity.

And as far as I can tell, the vast majority of people in the Ganondorf forum thinks Ganon got better.

super bowl is one game, tournaments are played in sets. its the analog of peach winning a game, not winning a set.

you should have picked the golden state warriors beating the dallas mavericks, it would have been more fitting.

Despite the fact that Peach was nerfed, mainly her D-Smash and we all know how brutal that move was in melee. Remember Peach aint the only 1 who was nerfed... Fox was, Bowser's Fsmash was (sadly) and the list goes on. I'm sure some Peach pros like Nes will still use her.
