Favorite thing with banana: Glide toss > Usmash

Other than that, I play ROB as my secondary, so I use them the same sort of way that ROB uses rotors.

I've landed Glide toss > 9 in matches too, it's legit, but you need to be kinda lucky obviously. All our smashes work from Glide toss and are extremely deadly when landed. I guess it can also used to control your Dthrow but other than that we don't have anything special with them.

G&W has a good dash attack to pick up bananas too.
He doesn't have a great fighting game with the threat of holding a banana other than tosses because his specials aren't great for combat.

Wait dashattack is still a popular way to catch items?

Dash attack kind of sucks at grabbing bananas, but then again G&W in general sucks at grabbing them. I prefer airdodge. My favorite thing to do is glide toss jump instanthrow it back down after if bounces up and then dair or something, hella flashy.

So it's Diddy's ForwardB grab>jump spike + G&W's Uair= opponent freezes in place until they take damage to reset the situation? I wonder what Uair does to other 'grab' type moves that cause the opponent to plummet, like Ganon's air flame choke. Bower's ForwardB probably won't glitch.

I just spent a good solid hour practicing chef wave-bouncing and chef semi-spiking. I really feel like if mastered well enough these should be used more as legitimate techniques. Some characters don't have much of any answer against chef spiking if it is aimed properly at the right height. Chef is so underused.

Luigi players who mash B during their tornado super fast can get ridiculous height. Same goes for ICs squall hammer when they're together. MK's tornado can rise but not nearly as much.

Yeah I know I was more talking about if Luigi goes for a side-b, which I know most good ones wouldn't do.

Hello fellow G&Wers!

I bumped into this game when my roommate introduced me into it. He played in some small tournaments back in the days, so our matches have been some sort of competitive. He got a good bowser and ganondorf, but they are the only two characters I have played against regularly. Our goal is to play in a few tournements this summer (for fun), so we would really like to play against other characters over the internet.

We have tried to play over wifi, but the matches seems to have extremely much lag, is this normal?
Our internet connection: 20mbits down and 5mbits up. We have no problems playing other games over internet on xbox, ps3 or the computer.

Vinnie goes GW game 1.

He also uses the new AT at 1:34 guess you can cancel the bacon's lag on the edge of a platform or something along those lines, I hope vinnie elaborates and gives us some examples of it's usage. Regardless I learned a lot from this match. I gotta start b-reversing my bacon a lot more. I've actually been thinking about how useful it'd be the last few days but i havent had a chance to play and really incorporate it into my game

Edit: Dude Vinnie is going hard as **** on match 3 delfino

It looked like it got a slight momentum slow and a small bounce off the platform, other than that I didn't notice anything. Are you sure that's the new AT?

Finally a MK does something I knew that worked for soooo long. ICs answer to tornado are semi-situational and do not at all make MKs risk reward ratio for using it go down. I look forward to see MKs abuse nado way more vs ICs and also to see if IC players can figure out something.
