Would you guys be opposed to me running Melee singles and Doubles at the same time? What about Brawl? Would you guys be opposed to me running brawl singles a few rounds into Brawl doubles? Hopefully it'll wrap things up quicker.

i'm would say no to melee singles and doubles at the same time - namely because i'll be there likely around 12:30 and want to have time to practice at least for singles (i get away from another commitment at noon).

but that's a selfish reason.

really, melee won't take that long as it is. it won't be too big, by the looks of things.

however, since brawl always takes too long, i would definitely support starting singles on any open tv's as doubles progresses to the finish. but then again, i don't play brawl so my opinion is worthless.

I think we need more TVs designated as "tourney match TVs" in general during tourneys. That would definitely speed things up. Sometimes I see TOO many friendlies taking up TVs and delaying matches. Friendlies are awesome and all, but we have to show the tourney matches some love too.

If the turnout is a little bigger, than I'd suggest keeping singles and doubles separate. From the looks of the last few posts, it doesn't seem that way, so you should be fine running them together I guess.
