Snake is a part of the same leak that Simon is dude. It stands to reason that if something bodes well for Simon or that leak in general, it bodes well for Snake as well. So, yeah, in that way it's relevant

Calling it now: the Action Adventure is going to be a new Castlevania, while the compilation is going to be a Metal Gear one.

And in the end both Snake and Simon Belmont are in Smash. At least that is what I hope.

Basically he is just saying that he now has multiple sources confirming his original Smash leak and has gained even more info on the Compilations and that they are both Castlevania games. I'm fine with that to be honest. If we get Snake in Smash AND Simon AND more Castlevania then this will be my number one most hyped E3. Cautious optimism, Diamond Dogs!

I don't recall that, what I remember reading is Vergeben only stating that Ridley would be revealed at E3, not the others.

Timestamp 0:28-0:32: The background is Mother Base from TPP, bottom right there is the "Big Boss is Watching You" poster from TPP, and near the end at the top you can see a Bomberman-style version of Solid Snake. Wow. This pretty much confirms the leak from my perspective.

There have also been mumblings of two Konami games being revealed this E3.

I think that the direct will be tying games with character reveals (among other things), so this bodes well for Simon (and also Snake)

He was pretty much a composite of big boss and David. Which pleases both fans.

I think ( or I would like to think) is that if they do bring him back, he’ll have 4 Solid Snake skins and 4 Big Boss (mgs3) skins. Also I think it would be cool to have a revolver ocelot as an assist trophy.

I hope he gets the "Cloud and Bayonetta treatment" where he gets at least one alt. costume which i suppose Naked Snake would be the most fitting, accompanying his Brawl design.

I whole-heartedly support. Having lost my two mains (Wolf and Snake) in the transition from Brawl to Sm4sh was really painful. Here's hoping that Vergeben is right about Snake returning, but since Konami's the devil... nah, let's just wait for E3.

Calling it now the compilation is an MGS Anniversary collection and Snake's Returning to Smash. Last year was Metal Gears 30th Anniversary.
