Keep in mind, Shadow actually had his own game. So maybe Tails is more likely, but Shadow's not a stupid idea.

Don't count your eggmen before they hatch. lame jokes before they're bricked. You must realize, Shadow does have the upper hand over Tails popularitywise, and it would be easier for Sakurai to make a moveset for him (Read also: recolor Sonic. Which is basically what Sega did in SA2B, so no worries there.). However, Shadow is not as indicative of the series as Tails is, and there's as much of an anti-Shadow fanbase as there is a pro-Shadow, if not more so.

Personally, my thoughts on a 2nd Sonic character works like this: Tails > SA2 Shadow, when he wasn't a total pain > No character > Knuckles >>>> Big > The Shadow we see in Heroes, 06 and other.

well indeed there are anti and pro shadow fans, but he should have been the LAST hedgehog in the series. People over-speculating the fact that (excluding amy) before sonic 06 there were only 2 hedgehogs (male) Sonic and Shadow, and a new hedgehog was a nice twist... however SEGA now are going OTT with each new game has a new character.

Silver killed the hedgehog thing off, NOT shadow which most people think he did. 2 hedgehogs who have different personalities, backgrounds and skills when they only have in common that they're both hedgehogs and somehow (can't see how on earth people actually do this) mix them up thinking Shadow was sonic?1 (Like in SA2B), come on the colour gave it away didn't it?

Anyway IF Tails, Knuckles and Shadow managed to get in(I know its impossible) what alternate costumes would you want to see for them? I know Sonic doesn't seem to have any good alternate costumes which is a shame, but for the following character I would propose a few suits from the Sonic Rivals series they look so cools in those suits.

Tails: Ace Pilot Suit(SR2),Captain Suit(SR2)

Knuckles: Eggman Suit(SR1),Gladiator Suit(SR2)

Shadow: Mercenary Suit(SR1), 80's Suit(SR1)

I'll try getting pictures of those suits they are really all cool looking.

The alternate costumes can change. Sakauri may be still working on the alts. And didn't have enough time to do full recolors of Sonic. I'm sure you could easily change a character's colors in 3 months with the technology Nintendo provides.

Making alt colors shouldn't be too hard. There are images that are used as polygons. Recolor the images, save them to another folder, redirect the alt costume to that folder. Boom?

If movesets are skill lists for characters, i have done some for other characters, i'll find them and add them to this post (They're all the most likely guesses atm) I would start a poll but i don't have the power to do so, i think premium members and up only can make a poll sorry.

Dr.Eggman doesn't have a moveset, they would have to completely create one like they did with Captain Falcon.
I prefer characters that are actually shown to have one like Tails,Knuckles and Shadow.

Not bad, a few things I would change.
I don't think Tails whip should be a special move at all, its much better as smash attack then anything else.
He should have his energy cannon from Sonic Battle as a standard special, replace the spin dash with something more original.

Both Knuckles and Amy are fine except do you see how unnorignal Amy is? You can't make a good moveset without including her hammer in every special moves.

Well Amy in SADX uses a hammer with every attack and in Sonic advance 1,2,3 also her specials in Sonic battle were with hammers. I will alter any of the skills if requested. Also i will make a move set for any character you ask for that is sonic related (avoid comic and cartoon spin off characters please)

And to Zorya, maybe if you actually read the first post (my post) it did say its my personal opinion and i know some with agree and disagree, so could you stop trying to spam and cause mayhem in a topic which is very active.

BTW Big the cat makes a very small apperence in Olympics. But only in the credits after you beat all the circuits. He is in one of the pictures that show up while the credits roll.

That's his only apperence I've seen him in the game. I think Sega only puts him in cameos. He hasn't been playable alone (Not with Amy, and Cream) since (Excluding Remakes like SADX and SA2B) Sonic Shuffle.
