dthrow techchasing isnt that bad for ddd because of how quick his rolls are, cuz if you roll forward and were not running forward the we cant regrab you again. and if you roll back and were shielding we cant get ftilt in like against everyone else, you can just shield/spot dodge and grab us back. and you can getup to utilt to catch us offguard and it can kill us.
If Snake can stay a hammer length away from DDD then we can punish him pretty well, as we can dacus his ftilt and he cant grab us. but dont try to pull a nade cuz he can ftilt us in the lag.
I think the reason that this matchup is so bad is that DDD can force us off stage and into recovering mode better than we can force him.
So the two things we should focus on:
1. Best way to avoid getting put into a bad situation (recovery), mainly how to avoid getting grabbed and what can we do to disrupt the chaingrab.
2. How to recover and land safely against DDD.
