Date and time TBA. ( I suggest we do this on a weekend. Saturdays are best for me, but if you want we can do it on a Sunday as well)
Rules: (this is the standard stuff)
3 Stock, Items set to off and non, 8 minute time limit
Matches will be best 2 out of 3 with the exception of winners/losers and grand finals which will be 3 out of 5.
Brackets will be double elimination and run on TIO at my home.
Stages used: Smashville, Final Destination, Battlefield
I don't want to include Yoshi's Island because as a Zelda user that stage is horrible to play on. That level is total balls for her and I would think that most of you would agree. I ban it in almost all of my tournament sets. Now granted I know there are some Sheik users entering and she can do stuff on that level, but unless there is a massive call for Yoshi's Island I would like to just stick to the 3 most basic levels. Wifi can be ******** enough as it is so I want to keep it as simple as possible.
Seeding for brackets-Random
We've never really done something like this before. Nobody really plays one another in real life, so I don't feel the need to seed by location or skill level. Plus it's only for fun and should we want to seed later on in the future we can use these as building blocks to see who fares the best in this type of environment as we do this more and more. I will be recording these results and posting them in the appropriate place for reference.
I can record a decent amount of matches on my computer so long as I am playing in or spectating the matches.
That's all I have for now. Pretty straightforward.
