Oh, yeah... I'm a little late. Yeah, I actually read the chapter the instant it came out, I just hadn't commented about it on here yet. (to be honest I kept on waking up all throughout Thursday morning to check and see if the chapter was out yet or not. It was like Christmas morning back when I was little. ^_^)

Overall my reaction on the Straw Hats new appearances' is a bit mixed, however there aren't any of them I really dislike, just some of them that I wish had changed a little differently.

Luffy -

I wanted him to mature more in his appearance. I was shocked, but at the same time not shocked when he was revealed to look almost exactly the way he did two years before. I guess Romance Dawn Luffy that looks like Shanks and has the stubble has to wait until the end of the series. =(

Zoro -

Okay, this one I don't know.I like how the scar on his eye resembles Rayleigh's, but I really hope that he still can open that eye. I am really led to believe otherwise right now and it's making me sad. Zoro would have looked really awesome (and sexy - as much as an fictional comic book character can be, I mean!) if he had gotten an eyepatch. I like his hairstyle.

Usopp -

Who can complain? Usopp really made quite an entrance in the chapter, and he has really matured. It's funny, though, because he still keeps that goofy face, and somehow he manages to look manly at the same time. Congratulations Oda, you won with this one!

Sanji -

I was dumb and didn't realize that his hair had been reversed. It makes me feel really dumb considering how his eyebrow looks so weird, I guess I was just so excited that I wrote it off as "That is weird, but I'll think about it later!". I don't really get why his goatee is black, but what do I know about facial hair? Nothing. lol. I'm pleased with his appearance, and his attitude.

Nami -

I had seen people suggesting she get a longer hairstyle, and I was iffy about it. However, now that we have seen what she looks like, I think it really suits her well. She really looks like a more mature woman now. Of course her boobs got bigger - she'll probably have back problems by the end of the series... Or not, it's a kid's comic book. Silly Oda.

Chopper -

If he changed at all, he actually got cuter. I have no complaints here. I didn't expect him to change at all, although I was very interested in seeing how Oda would change him if he did. We haven't seen his other forms, so they might have changed.

Robin -

Oh gosh, the first time I saw her in the chapter (after the colorspread) I was like "Is that Boa Hancock?" She resembles Boa Hancock so much! She is really pretty now, I didn't expect Oda to change her that much. I was thinking "She is mature already, she'll probably look the same."

Franky -

I'll say, lets wait and see what he looks like when he shows up next chapter. I hope that he has multiple "modes" and he's just using one that keeps his hair so short. Franky isn't Franky without the hair.

Brook -

Hilarious. Did not see it coming. It'll be funny seeing a rockstar on that crew, that is unless he goes back to his old self after the reunion. Still hilarious, though. I can't wait to see this part in the anime.

Just including Luffy curbstomping his impersonator (Just glaring at him lulz), taking at most one more page would have made it way better.

Which is probably what will happen. If you can't tell neither Usopp or Nami took them all of that seriously, in fact I found Nami's attitude showed a bit of maturity. Compare this Nami to the Nami at Mock Town.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Straw Hats just kind of "accidentally" defeated the fake Straw Hats. Either way I don't think that it'll take much effort. I think that whoever's trying to take Robin and also the marines/government might play much more of a role here.

The next few chapters might just be tentatively exploring the new SHs, although given the fact that we're in OP withdrawal, we'll think they're the greatest chapters ever. I'm not complaining as long as Zoro's in the all the next chapters as long as Robin is all the next chapters as long as Brook is in all the next chapters GAAH CAN'T CHOOSE!!

I can't wait for the next chapter, where we should get more confirmations on Zoro and Franky, and where we can confirm that Perona is not with Zoro. (there are people who think Perona will join. )

OMG! I just lol'd. I searched "Perona" on YouTube to find a video of her laugh (and wasn't successful) and instead I found an AMV of her with Ashley's Song (WarioWare). This is just great... Back in 2007 before Brawl was released, there were people who actually thought Ashley would make into Brawl as a playable character. I loved to troll their topic, because it was absolutely ridiculous and wasn't going to happen.

Now here we are in One Piece. On other forums people are suggesting left and right that Perona join the Straw Hat crew, and of course it isn't happening, so here I am trolling them.

And now there is an AMV with Perona and Ashley's Song.

Sorry... just absolutely hysterical that they'd make that connection. Both of them fit into the same category: Not making it, with a fanbase that can't seem to realize it. It's also funny that they both are kind of similar in character. I never saw that. :o

Whenever I visit a one piece fansite or anime fansite, there are always multiple members who come up with some of the most unlikely theories ever (similar to some of the pre-brawl ideas). There is about a 1% chance that Perona or Hancock will join the SHs. I've seen people argue that Perona will join simply because she's developed a bond with Zoro and that Oda wouldn't waste his time developing characters for no reason (which is a really bad argument considering 95% of OP characters are all fairly developed as characters). Chances are, it won't happen.
