I follow the official release, but even so the break goes on another week. The next official release of a One Piece chapter will be June 10th. Source (official).

I already explained why. The Jump issue that just came out was June 3rd's issue, issue #27. We're following scans which come out 5 days early than the official date. Jump issues don't necessarily hit streets on Mondays, even though that's the date it says.

I agree. It's pretty annoying that he literally goes on break every other week. Being sick? I understand that, but this is just unacceptable.

I think working from 5am to 2am 7 days a week for 4 or 5 weeks straight (when there's no sick break or jump break) to deliver the most popular manga in Japan, means he gets to take off as much time as he wants. And I'm sure he still does work on the manga and research during those days off.

Also, I do remember seeing Oda's schedule, and there is honestly no human who can go on that schedule for even a month. With that being said, I question how much of this stuff is unrelated to OP. You got other popular writers who don't take nearly as many breaks. It seems like this year in particular, Oda has taken a break at least once a month, with two this month. I don't think he was at that rate last year to be honest. Maybe once every 6 weeks. It's just frustrating to see OP skip a week more often then not. Factor in holidays, it's more than just 12-13 weeks of no OP.
