Yeah, seconded...where's the code with YY? I read perfectly fine, I always do, but I didn't see any code or any fill-in information for doing different stages, before the fill-in information was posted, anyways.
Yeah sorry about that here's the code.

I believe credit for the code goes to full metal kirby

Where's the YY where u usually put the sub id?

Anyone got a code that let's you control the stage's sub id on WiFi? Ex. Play on target test lvl 3.

Here's a code that let's you control the stage's sub id. But it only works offline.

I have a somewhat related question.

Is it possible to do this WITHOUT the copy of TP and a not-modded Wii? Do you know if something like this will come out in the future?

I really don't feel like getting the game for this, and none of my friends have it surprisingly, lol.

it is only possible currently through those methods. people wanted to make the same thing possible on other games, but no one has been working on it as far as i know. rent or buy TP to make it work. it's a good game anyway.

You can rent it for like 9 bucks. You should try it though as it is an amazing game.

Maybe in the future another method will be discovered but as of now, you'll need the game or a modded Wii.

1. action replay is unavailable for the wii, and is likely to stay that way, given nintendo's firmware updates to the wii.

2. you don't know anything about wii homebrew hacking do you?

3. cheating = doing something the game was meant to do, in order to gain an advantage to a game

hacking = doing something the game was not meant to do, for purposes to do things the game/console cannot do, with occasionally the ability to modify games (via ocarina) using hacks.

i cant even get this code to work offline. ill put in 38 for the XX for target test, but no matter what i put in the YY its always the first target stage. help?

EDIT: as a matter of fact, i just noticed that changing the YY was changing the BGM. but its weird, cause the music is not in order. 50 was kirby's boss theme, and 51 was poke floats. weird.

and one more thing, the game freezes at the end of every match when using this code.

I posted this in their support thread:

"Btw, I still need to know:

1 if the size of a character's model (specific parts) can be changed by code.

2 if there is a food modifier.

3 if you can moveswap with say "character 2" instead of changing a particular character into another and making another code file each time.

4 codes that work to moveswap movesets onto Bowser, Kirby, Zelda, Shiek , Samus, Zamus, Ice Climbers, Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard correctly.

5 and if there's a U.S. code to take pics out side of the pause menu."

and after many posts of futher correcting my request to others, the most answer i got was:

1. (no real answer)
(one guy thought that the game had to have a big head mode before you could do something like that, lol)

2. (no real answer)
(people thought that i was talking just about an item modifier, not one that modifies what food spawns)

3. (no real answer)
(i accidentally put texture swap instead of move swap in my first post, and then corrected people)

4. (no real answer)
(the people didn't understand that those codes didn't work, and still believed that file sizes had to do with moveswaps. i'm testing out all 1400+ moveswaps, so i think i'd know who works and who doesn't)

and
5. No, you need a capture card if you want to do that.

as you can see, great support

i think cheating is plain wrong
Then why did you come here? Just to tell us how immoral we are for "cheating"?
meleemaster's right anyways. If you don't like hacking, then don't come here, it's that simple.

Someone said a few pages back that you need to put in 01 for the first, 02 for the second, 03 for third, 04 for fourth, and 05 for fifth. Did you try those?

Thanks, Deep, for that code, I'll have to test it out.

First off changing YY is the stage id, second it doesn't work on target test, but it does work on other stages, for example if i put YY to the stage ID of Mushroomy Kingdom, then change XX to 02, it will give me world 1-2, u know the underground one :D, u can do the same to Spear Pilar too, to change which pokemon comes up first i believe. And third it does freeze after u finish a match i've got to look up a code that doesn't. I had one before i just don't know where it is now.

1. yes it is possible but no one h3as done it yet.
2. Not yet
3. Yes considering you can swap textures.
4.No because the movesets are not compatible and cause issues because of the way the game handles character data.
5. No and there most likely won't be one.

PLEASE tell me that
1. you read the text following my quote
2. your reference to character data is not pertaining to file size

SWEET!!! I know this is off topic but i just made my own custom channel!!!
I might post a link to it later. It's a WAD Installer/Uninstaller with a GUI interface.
The credit don't go to me for the actual program. I just converted it to a .WAD and put all the preety pictures and stuff. And sound...

that website is good only for codes but not in the way of kind advice...
O rly? You don't moderate the forums all day and still see people posting the same issues, the same ideas, and the same confusion. Every time a new person joins, they always have to make a new thread in the wrong forum about why their SSBB doesn't work or why a certain code doesn't work. I help them out everyday, it's a pain, I get irritated by it because they can't read a single thread (even though it's really long) and find their answer in it. Y'know, I'd love it if they read the end all be all thread about their issues (the FAQ thread GaryCXJk made) but, they don't even though it's in every code forum, stickied, and at the top.

Unless by advice you meant life advice, which would make sense in a way. But, I'm pretty sure you were talking about help, which there's PLENTY of if you read the threads that already exist and NOT create new ones about the same thing.

as you can see, great support
I c wut u did thar.

Sarcasm, I love it. First off, #1 is being worked on by Y.S if you ever bothered to read the Japanese SSBB code thread.

2) You weren't specific enough, it's your fault for not explaining what you were talking about in the first place.

4) By character data, Shadowlink84 means that they're in a completely different area, their move sets are not within the same area as the others and it seems unlikely that they'll be found anytime soon. If you ever read any of the earlier posts in the support thread, you'd know that those move swaps don't even work when you hack the ISO. So, the chance of getting them to work is very slim, and people constantly asking about them shows how much people read threads.

I really don't like the last statement as I said earlier with that sarcastic remark. I do a lot of helping over there even if I am hotheaded, but I'm only hotheaded because nobody searches the forums if it has already been answered or looks through threads for'em. If you did, I'm sorry if this doesn't apply to you and for making a generalization but, you must not have looked hard enough. If you can't find your answer amongst the thread that has 46 pages, then you're not looking hard at all. The last question has been answered already God knows how many times.

The point is, the Gecko forums do have support, but having to repeat ourselves is getting really irritating. Hell, I'm the only one that actually does SSBB code support because the staff can't withstand the amount of time and effort it takes to manage everything that's SSBB over there. It's driving them nuts and it's about to drive me nuts. If you can't find an answer to your questions, or they weren't answered properly, it's because the people answering don't know jack squat OR don't know what the hell you're talking about. Meaning you'd have to wait for either me to post or someone else.

/rant

All set off because of that sarcastic remark, I really don't appreciate that.

by the sarcasm i didn't mean you, you were the only one to even answer some of my questions, it was mostly because it was annoying to keep correcting myself to Naraku2000, and after doing so, he just posts things like "oh, you mean movesets filled in characters instead filling several movesets ON the respective characters", which never helped my problem. anyway, "player 2" moveswapping is less important to me now that i almost have the moveset swap chart done, it still would have been nice.

I just posted about character data because i am sick of so many people assuming things like R.O.B. cannot possible have King Dedede's moveset on them, because his file is too big. most of the time references to character data with moveswaps is that.

and i know that i accidentally put texture swap instead of moveset, but i corrected it in the thread, about the time people forgot about my questions.

and it would have taken me a bit more effort than i was willing to search through all the support thread pages in every language in order to find my answer. (more than half of the things discussed there is music modifier problems, which i don't care about in the least)

Gecko forums are great for support. Usually you'll get an answer.

That new texture hack code looks amazing, I wish I had a Gecko. I wish it could work with Ocarina.

Hmmm I just noticed, you can't save any data to the sd card when you're playing with trips off(or any cheat enabled for that matter), its crossed out like there isn't one inserted? Will a newer version of orcarina be released that allows one to make use of their sd card to save replays and what not....like if that extended replay code is every released it'd make more sense to store it on the card, instead of the system hehe

the current ocarina version (the only one) has the problem of not being able to read from the SD card while playing. a newer version might come out soon that fixes that.

The other main plans for newer versions of ocarina might include:
-gamecube games working with ocarina
-code files (GCT) to allow more lines of codes
-being able to choose which codes are applied when you start the software
-more features, like the ability to have other file types applied to the game (like the new texture hack)

Although I like this version, but it sure put hacks on Gamecube with would be really cool.

Also, i have a question, Is it really the usb Gecko to create codes?

-code files (GCT) to allow more lines of code.
This isn't going to be possible because Ocarina is based off the WiiRd code handler which also has this limitation. The original handler (WiiRd's) would have to be changed and this is impossible because you can only write to a certain range in the Wii's RAM otherwise, you can crash the system because it takes enough RAM as is to run a single game. It's not going to happen.

Also, i have a question, Is it really the usb Gecko to create codes?
Yes, and the PC program WiiRd (which is free).

hmmm, that's a bummer. the only work around i could think of is a way to compile the GCT files while running ocarina. making a new GCT file each time you run it if you want, but then you still couldn't run too many codes at a time. it would only be like skipping the step of going to the computer back and forth...

Can someone just post the code? It's really hard to navigate that first post, and I'm not even entirely sure what the code would be called.

Also, any luck with the SSE stages yet? Or should I just lose all hope right here and now?
