Old Brawl Code Thead (CLOSED!!!)

Ok... Today I was playing brawl with various cheats on (using ocarina through homebrew) and then I decided that I wanted to play brawl normally again. So I booted up the game from the disc channel and did a match (vs. CPU) and then decided that It was time to change what music played out of my music. SO... I went there edited a few things and then BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP... the game froze. It does this every time I go into my music (even without the SD card in the Wii) I did make some glitch stages using the stage builder codes, but I deleted them. And every time the game freezes I have to shut it off by pressing the power button down so that the LED turns red. Help PLEEASE!!! I've searched All over google and SWF! Has this happened to anyone else? Did I do something wrong?
Use the music resetter. That should fix everything

About Zero Suit Samus transformations, would it be that hard to make a code that switched who was loaded? Something like making it turn Samus into Mario seems along the lines of what codes tend to accomplish, and if you took it to an extreme, couldn't you just have Samus turn into Samus? You'd reset stale moves and generate armor pieces, but I can't imagine that would be too bad.

i thought if you had the character modifier, that zamus would not load back up into zamus, instead zamus would stay in a magical yellow ball. so that might make staying as zamus or samus pretty tough to accomplish.

as for samus turning into zamus, i have no experience with that...

Okay, so it's not possible to fix the end result -- I'm asking about other ways. Like I suggested, making the taunt work both ways. Or something else. Just something to fix that, so as a Samus mainer I never have to touch Zamus, even with Smash Balls on.

It ma be possible but again there could be side effects.

Its better off just mapping the taunt transformation to a button key and using it after the final smash so you won't have to use zamus.

no the game looks for Zamus after performing the final smash.
so if mario/samus is there instead of Zamus the game will freeze.
Sort o like how Mugen will look for the character file and if anything is wrong with just the name it freezes when selecting said character.


hence why its better to make the game do a taunt transformation afterwards because using any other method can cause issues, especially since we do not know exactly how her FS loads the data.

Has anyone figured out a way to play on Target Test lvl 2,3,4,5 on WiFi?
Where YY is in the code, you put 01, 02, 03, 04, or 05. 02 = Level 2, 03 = Level 3, 04 = Level 4, and 05 = Level 5.

It's always been figured out, some people just don't read. :ohwell:

I hate write protection on the SD card. It's a regular 1 GB SD card and it's not locked. I tried taping it to unlocked and that did nothing. I can't format it because it's write protected and it happened on my last card right before it broke. What's the problem?!

you should be able to reformat it on disk utility (mac) or some other control panel application for windows. it needs to be formatted to FAT36 or something, i can't remember...

I Googled this same problem and my fix was taping it.

AHEM, on WiFi, the code that people have right now is only for target test level 1, and for now nobody has gotten a code for stage sub id's on WiFi, i've got the code that there's only the main stage id, XX only, there is no YY, so please if someone knows the code for online please help me.

It's not a code. It's a reference list for texture swapping. I think it has to do with the newly-partially-accomplished feat by scupizzaboy: loading custom textures via sd card and ocarina. WHICH WAS MY IDEA, BY THE WAY!

not texture swapping, it allows you to activate or turn off various objects on characters, which is what the hatless mario code allowed you to do, but this is for everyone. and it is a code.

Improvements:
-All codes have been made marginally shorter.
-Super Mario has an overcharged Fludd.
-Super ToonLink has instantaneous boomerangs and bombs (I may have fixed the Bow = freezing bug, but I'll need to do more testing)
-Super Falco's blaster is faster
-Super Sonic runs much faster with instant turning

AHEM, on WiFi, the code that people have right now is only for target test level 1, and for now nobody has gotten a code for stage sub id's on WiFi, i've got the code that there's only the main stage id, XX only, there is no YY, so please if someone knows the code for online please help me.

Yeah, seconded...where's the code with YY? I read perfectly fine, I always do, but I didn't see any code or any fill-in information for doing different stages, before the fill-in information was posted, anyways.
