Oklahoma Thread: Weekly events for all games in OKC and Tulsa

got 2nd in both events at the canada tourny. Teamed with swordgard in teams and lost to holynightmare+tinman ( olimar) and then lost singles to holy in an epic 9 game double set that came down to the last hit with like 30 seconds left with the whole room chanting CANADA CANADA CANADA lol. Holy ran away at the end and I got timed out

I just tried watching M2K playing ADHD in WF, and I couldn't do it.

Also right now it's 4 dudes from TX, Karl, Bryan, Andy, Me, and Chris probably. Brandon said he'd go if people would leave Saturday with him cause he has to work that Friday.

Well boys, I'm going to have to sit out of MIST probably. Marc is supposed to hit OK this weekend, and I was planning on kicking it old school with him.
It's just a bad weekend for me to be trying to take off anyway besides that with work getting really crazy right now.
However, I WILL be at Super Bit Wars, and I intend on kicking as much *** as I possibly can, so you guys better learn as much as you can this weekend...
BTW, if you see M2K, tell him Po says he's a scrub and I can take him with one hand tied behind my back and on fire. Which reminds me... ANDY, you better wreck his **** this time... No playing around. I want to hear about the weird-*** Samus player that owned M2K!

Revolution 4 will have Brawl, Melee, and Smash 64 tournaments.
BM1 will have Brawl singles, Doubles and will probably have some wasseda doubles.
[Batou also tells me there will be a secret drawing for everyone who enters!]
So your game plan is...
1. Come Friday night and enter Revolution 4.
2. House at my place, which is 2 min from the venue.
3. Ride with me or someone else Saturday to BM1!
4. Come back and house at my place again! Woooo!

So while you're at MIST, Yawara, you hype this thing up to massive proportions and try to get as many people to Norman on the 20th as humanly possible.
That goes double for the rest of you-- Irish, you tell Outlaw to get his *** there... Tom, you reach out to the Tulsa peeps and tell them they need to be there.
Everyone else, reach out to your connects and get them interested! Let's make this thing awesome and huge for Forest's sake!

I regret taking my brother to Gamestop to get MGS4 for his birthday last Thursday. Since then, he has played the game, constantly, in 10-hour sessions. Gets really irritating since he's using the living room tv to play on it.

Thread title updated. Also gentlemen, Chris and I have discussed a few things in passing about the state of OK's Competitive Fighting community as a whole, and there are some things I want to run by everyone, but I am taking my time to make sure I have a clear, focused voice on what I would like to see happen with not only Smash players, but Street Fighter cats, BlazBlue kids, Mortal Kombatants, and Marvel heads as well.
We got the talent pool and the numbers, but we're not pulling together and making big things happen. I've had a burning desire to get better at everything lately, but my time has been very short recently. I am running some things in my head as far as ideas go to foster a growth like we saw around the time this thread was started and the moment Yawara first came to OK, but we've kind of dropped off since then... I don't know what it is we can do as a community, but I watched the EVO stream and Genesis 2 and my Spider-Sense was tingling...
I was both salty as a box of Premium crackers and strangely driven to want to get better watching people far better than I currently am doing amazing things in games I've been playing for quite some time, and some not so long, but not the point. Not only do I personally want to increase my skills, I want the rest of us to get stronger as well. You guys are stepping in the right direction by traveling, and I hope to join you all soon. When my ideas are ironed out better, I will run it by you all.

Also, I've recently discovered a side to my sexuality I've never before explored. Perhaps it's simply a phase but I can't stop looking at gay furry porn. I even made an account on FurAffinity and deviantART. Karl's been showing me the best gay furry porn and I'm reluctant to admit it's actually very attractive. I'm going to buy some fox ears and probably go to the craft store so I can make a tail. It's actually pretty easy from what I've gathered through various google searches. Does anyone want to smash today?
