I'm pretty swamped and slightly overwhelmed with what to do, but worst case scenario is that I will help you guys out by posting anyone that needs it up in a cheap motel so that you guys will only have to spend as much money as is necessary. Give me a few days to work this out, but I need those confirmations ASAP in the event I have to start calling around town to work this out.

i was planning on trying to house the people who live the farthest away to alleviate some of their added stress and give them more freetime and even practice :D again we'll have to see what all happens but i'd like to house CO since dey iz far and i live like 5 minutes away.

We Need More Setups!!!

This is especially dedicated to all of the Oklahomans that are planning on attending:
YOU GUYS NEED TO BRING SOME SET-UPS!!!!

I don't mean to sound harsh, but I think it is utterly ridiculous that out of the 25 or so OKers on the first post, that only four or five of you are planning on bringing a Wii, TV, etc. I don't know if any of you have noticed, but there are about 80(!) people that are confirmed as going, and that number is sure to increase over the coming weeks.

This is a huge thing for OK, as we have never had a tournament of this size in the history of OK Smash. The paltry amount of TVs we have (about 12) is NOT going to be enough, especially for all the friendlies, money matches, and other stuff we have planned. We need more support from within our state, especially those of you who have been in the community for awhile. You all know quite well what is needed to make a tourney successful. Not just the TOs, but the players themselves must also contribute more than just a warm body and a few matches.

We need equipment contributions from pretty much everyone here in our state. If not each individual, every OK carpool should be bringing at least ONE setup. This isn't just for Hanson, or OHSNAP, but for the continued growth and expansion of our community, each and every one of us must make some small sacrifice for the sake of a running a successful and enjoyable event.

Everyone complains about how there is no one to play in OK, and now that we have some real talent coming in, I see no one wants to step it up and do it big.

If we want this thing to be a huge deal, we need to treat it as such. I would like to see the likes of M2K and Azen come to an OHSNAP someday... I thought that maybe the rest of you wanted that as well...
