Official Takamaru in Brawl Thread! *ADDED MORE MATERIAL*

So far we have three characters, Mario, Peach, and Bowser.



But they are representing their individual spin-off franchises. NOT the Super Mario franchise. what's stopping Geno from getting a SMRPG symbol anyway? That game is a spinoff as well.

Anyway, this is the Takamaru thread, let's focus on the issue at hand.

I am pretty sure as hell if Geno got in he will get a mushroom icon like Mario. He is a Mario character after all.

I'm not doubting it, but if they want to rep him as third party, they may give him his own symbol to avoid confusion.

Demille has nothing to do with this topic. My point is more than just high votes on a character, it has to do with the fact that if Sakurai were to add Takamaru in anyway at all, he would intend fot him to be playable. Which is what leads me to believe that was the reason Goroh (meh) and the reasonable choice that was Lyn were asssit trophies. They were very workable for being characters (especially Lyn) but something happened and that was Takamaru... The inclusion of Pit is what gave Japanese gamers the hope of him being added to the roster as well. I'm sure it would be enjoyable to re imagine a character that hasn't appeared in a game since the 80s. They WILL NOT skip over him JUST because he was Japan only which is the only thing that would get in his way.

Out of opinion, I'm under the assumption that MOTHER 3's quirks might hinder Demille a little bit, I think he will go the route of Knuckle Joe and be an assist with a small moveset.

really, who else besides Takamaru could become the Samurai in brawl? Lyn and Goroh are pretty much the only other Nintendo owned characters that could fill the position, but they're AT's... I really think that means good things for Takamaru. not to mention that he's more requested then both of them combined, and then some.

I'm not sure if a wakizashi or a daisho of any sort is necessary for Takamaru. I can't see that being incorporated when Takamaru already has enough abilities to draw from without adding too much to his character. Of course, it's a welcome idea but in my opinion it's not needed. If Sakurai wishes to give Takamaru a daisho of any sort, however, I'm sure he'll do it right. ^.^

thats what I was referring to... I should have specified that. it wouldn't make sense to use it anyways, because they were only used for ritual suicides if they dishonoured there Emperor (at least, I think thats what their purpose was...)
