You missed some pixels near the black zigzags.

You can see it and it adds authenticity. Makes him more zardy otherwise itd just be the wings/colour and hornsy things. Why not include the flame mate?

A lot of the sprite I'm seeing here are looking pretty good. I don't have many critiques about some of the recent sprites, because I'm not the best at putting my thoughts into words. All of them are very interesting, and are looking good. But for what I can say, Greenstreet you got it going with your sprites. Your Tyranizard is cool, and your Electabuzz looks great for a color change. Overload, I agree that the older versions of your sprite looked better.
Also, Mewter, your sprite could use some work. I'd suggest making the lines a little more smooth, and adding some more detail in via shading and color. Otherwise, it's a great start.


Plus, I may as well post some of my own Pokemon sprites here. You guys got some pretty good stuff going here. Mine are a bit different though, so let's get started.

This is basically an edit of the D/P Tentacruel sprite that gives it a cool pose, from one of it's 1st gen sprites.

This is a devamp i did. I tried to make a Rhyperior sprite that would fit with the styles and size limitations of the 3rd gen games.

This guy here is my Pokemon mascot, Pimperior. Almost anything I do in regards to pokemon(Whether spriting, stories, and even in my actual games), Pimperior is there. He's the most pimpin Rhyperior ever.

Lastly, using some official art as a reference, this custom sprite is a D/P-ish Shadow Lugia. One of the better Pokemon sprites I have made.

So I just finished the head of my first fully scratched sprite. This might take a while

My First Scratched Sprite

So, I was thinking, prompted by Vyse, if there was a Pokemon based off a Wombat. And I couldn't think of one Pokemon who was directly linked to the greatest animal to walk, or plod along this green Earth. So I decided to make one. Keep in mind this is the first in the evolution chain of probably three, so this one is the baby.

Name: Woomby
Type: Normal
Pokedex Entry: As soon as Woomby are able to leave their mother's pouch they begin to burrow tunnels underground. This Pokemon is suprisingly strong for its size as a result of its continous digging.

And in true Aussie Spirit I give you his shiny as well:

Hope you like him! For clarifications sake, his evolutions are gonna get bigger, furrier and cuter.

I forgot to mention that I would love as much critique on this from the more experienced spriters around, especially those who have made their own creations before. Keep in mind I realise he is basic and not much distinct 'Pokemony' stuff added on, he is like a rattata or a sentret or zigzagoon at this point but his evolutions will get flashier...well that's the plan anyway.

Finished the first evo of Woomby. His name shall be Womboot. Just working on the colouring now and I'll post it in the morning (so I can wake up and see if it still looks ok)..

But the wombat has more of an actual yellow...golden retrievers are sort of a creamy color.

As for critique on the Woomby and Womboot, they both look great. The only thing that I would say is to make it more fitting for an actual battle -- in other words, have them facing forward-left. Other than that, they're awesome.
