I'm thinking that the Sonic vs. Mario matchup probably will be an even matchup. Sonic may be a fastfaller, so Mario can get easy combos and chaingrabs on Sonic. However, Sonic has speed on his side when it comes to running and attacks, but Mario's attacks will be stronger and chances are is going to be heavier than Sonic. In other words, these guys can beat the living daylights out of each other.

Nicely done, fellows. I tried drawing Sonic before (and Tails and Knux and everyone else). He's surprisingly hard. I sucked.

I find it's much better to draw original characters, because no one knows when you mess up.

A new fangled Green Hill Zone would indeed make the most sense. I'd be up for it. Though, I think a Casino stage of some kind could be fun too.

Though, I haven't really given it much thought. I'm too busy contemplating Sonic as a character to care much if he even gets his own stage in Brawl (I imagine he would though).

"summat" is correct. i cant take this art contest seriously and i had to half-*** that pic cuz i got so much shiznit to do at once ....leaving ebay feedback, posting on SWF, posting on P2W, Aim convos, making sure my ebay items actually work, etc. and i gotta do this all in like 1.5 hours before an auction for FF9 finishes..lol. pathetic i know, but i wont be able to have this much fun in 3.5 weeks when i go back. my weekdays will be hell and my weekdays will consist of rugby games, hangovers, and pong til dawn.

anyways Casino Nights is tight.

I think a medium tier, he shouldn't suck, but he shouldn't be like Captain Falcon, from now on I reference Captain Falcon to Melee's god. My brother thinks Captain Falcon isn't all mighty and powerful, he just thinks he's really good. Sonic's inclusion is big, so he shouldn't suck.

Note: Virtual Console doesn't save . Got to Oil Ocean and died, gotta start from beginning. I suck, I know. Haven't played this game since...ya know...Genesis.

Anyway, Aquatic Ruins might be a cool level. With buildings and waterfalls falling throughout the walls for a background would be interesting.

And also, for Del and whoever said Jet the Hawk only appeared in one game, he had a cameo in Rivals and Secret Rings. He was supposed to have an actual part in Secret Rings, but it got axed before the final version.
I use the term cameo lightly, because he was only on a "card" in Rivals. I never played the game, so I dunno what that means.

Oh Yes. Knuckles made it, but they thought Sonic was too blue, so they axed him. Banjo-Kazooie was also in the game, but Sakurai thought Banjo was too much of a stereotype, so he got the axe as well.
I think Shigeru Miyamoto was considered for a spot on the Brawl roster, but his character was too UbEr PwnZ3R to be in the final version.
