casino night.....hmmm....not bad, but rather prefer green hill zone....sounds more realistic.....but there could also be an update with sonic based items, like AT or weapons.
AT examples: those bee things in green hill zone fly around and attack
a sonic character to aid you
weapon examples: sonic shoes (gives you more speed than bunny hood, but no jump)
knuckle gloves (gives you knuckles' hands to punch)

True, but if we get a 2nd Sonic stage, I'm sure hoping for the Casino level. Hopefully based off of the one from Sonic 2. Love those slots. And the music. And being stuck playing Tails. Okay, scratch that last one.

chyea mayn, i feel that too. twas actualy called Emerald Hill yo but i aint picky. Emerald Hill was tight yo an the BGM for it was ill too. love that level way better than Green Hill from Sonic 1. but imma hafta say Death Egg wit them gravity switches would make a ballin' Brawl stage dawg.more so than any other, ya know?

Don't let the monkey ruin Sonic 2 for you. It's the only game that the entire fanbase agrees on as a good one.
Anyway, I dunno about a super-classic stage in Brawl. Sakurai's put in a whole bunch of Adventure Series elements (The green eyes, the blue afterimages, Live and Learn. . .), but at the same time, he's also brought back some classic ones (Sound effects, over-the-edge animation.). So I don't think that Sonic's stage would be a completely classic one.
Perhaps something that has both classic and adventure elements? I'm down with that. Or if they're feeling up to it, they could give us two stages, one from each series. I'd pick Casino Night Zone and City Escape.
Green Hills been done to death, IMO. . .Unfortunately, there's a good chance we'll see it again, anyway. . .

I always had a thing for Sonic & Knuckles, because it was the first Sonic game I got to play (I was a Sonic fan up until that point but never actually played any of his games) AND I got to play Knuckles, who was my favorite Sonic character.

Anyways good to have you backMine too, I was in a cruise for 2 weeks with a friend and all my friend and I did was play Sonic 2 (we were like what 6,7?) We would actually talk about it when we were eating those grilled hamburguers in the deck, planning how to beat the next stage. The good old times... To this day my friend LOVES Tails (I say this because my friend ain't that much into video games and him still remembering Tails from all those years back is amazing), which is what he used the whole time. I am trying to get a way to buy Wii Points from the internet to buy it through Wii Shop channel and invite that friend over to remember old times. (Somehow I am not able to buy Wii Points directly to Nintendo because my credit card's billing adress is not in the US, which is gay, because the credit card is still IN dollar currency and was actually acquired to just purchase through the internet {I play, or more like played WoW, so my mom got me that credit card so I could pay the months without asking her every few months})

For How Long have we been B**ching about this game on this and other sites, making spekulations, predictions, giving hype, criticizing updates, criticizing other players ideas; characters, stages, gameplay.
