Everyone gets mad touchy as soon as i talk about their character

if i was talkin about ****in wolf no one would give a **** lol

The only thing i said was that to be on the melee power rankings it required a lot more skill than brawl. Everyone ****in knows this to be tru.

Then i get peeps tellin me I jon about brawl cuz i dont win
and there is a fairly easy explanation for that

I dont play snake or meta or any other top characters

The only characters i have lost to at a tournament has been snake D3 metaknight and game n watch.Toon link doesnt have anything on a decent meta. Im not sayin toon is bad cuz he isnt i would have put him at top 4 a month or 2 ago. I just havnt lost to any other characters nor have i tried to play snake to beat meta. the game n watch matches are legitimate and they are overall better than me.

The ****in purpose of a video game is to have fun
Why would you ****in play a game and be bored while doin it??
OF COURSE I DO IT FOR FUN

I dont say i play bad chars as an excuse to lose
I use it to show that i dont give a **** if i lose
Its my own personal opinion play for fun
I dont suck at melee or brawl and i have fun with it which is more than i can say about meta ***s that use tornado spam.

Im disapointed in whoever is talkin smack because i obviously know them and they know me. Most melee peeps talk **** about the brawl nubs but as soon as they start winin tourneys with em they join the club. you gtfo am i the scrub? I dont hide behind my chracters or ****in alternate accounts.People are gettin obsesed with the WIN to the point that they are tryin to justify their own gayness by joinin the majority which so happens to be nubs.

If you wanna say something just say it and dont hide it.
we are all entitled to our own opinions

you think im a scrub cuz i dont pick meta and i play for fun
I think your all sell outs with no honor but hey watever
majority rules

I wasnt trying to bring other people down i just personally believe anyone that played melee can be on there they jsut dont play THE character or ***ish. "good" people dont do anything i cant do, they arnt thinknig more, more technical, have better mindgames. So why would i possibly lose or any other person for that matter? characters

I have strong opinions o well
everyone knows em by now

"Zoro doesnt like brawl"

for this very ****in reason
you guys get ****in crazy and go to a crazy personal level, even mentioning my gf who didnt do **** to anyone. What for? To justify your wins? man **** that

Whatever man

You know what i think
I know what you think

Play me get owned by ganon and link

No, Zoro, you were definitely talkin trash about the Brawl scrubs and "having fun".

Which is why I didn't even read your whole your post, becuase its just you trying to warp your previous posts.

I undersand you're mad because, like in every fighting game, people are playing to win.

If you don't want to play to win, then go play with other scrubs who john.

toon has plenty tools vs metaknight, you just got to avoid arial combat and reduce your routine to relentless bombs and spot dodge spam. metaknights only decent dodge counter is his tornado and occasionally his dash through>to downsmash and his glide cancel to downsmash all of which are very abrupt and supprising when they happen but can become predictable. stay in the center of the map if you can and do more bomb drops maybe? iunno, toon i think is going to be one of the metaknight counters in the future of brawl its a shame that the routine has to be simplified and stressful vs meta but you gotta just except that, brawls balanced as far as most fighting games are concerned. and as far as snake you can stool jump his recovery and you can throw him near the edge to gimp him, or counter-pick a level with a really low roof and upsmash at 120%. or maybe even weegi's uppercut, crimson-knee(or)toe (zelda-falcon) jiggs sleep during snakes predictable *** recover coupled with the throw gimp would be nasty. just food for thought, i suck at this game i just wanted to sound cool.

also melee is to brawl what speed chess is to normal. one is more strategic, one is more repetition. The level that you pros got to in melee took alot of practice and is highly commendable. You still have to realize that the games learning curve was high yes but it was just people spamming lagless moves via-exploit in a torential sort of approach or projectiles and the game had much easier spikes+kill mechs. Brawl games are more anti-climactic yes, but on the same note when you do land a spike it means that much more. If you miss the intenseness of comboey games play the new guilty gear, i'm buying it next paycheck and i'll be looking for people to play vs very shortly.

Force I like you but you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to melee. Your description of "just people spamming lagless moves" is much more reminiscent of brawl gamplay than melee and our conversations last night showed me your ignorance of the vast depth of melee that is lost in brawl.

I know melee is vastly more technical i never said that it wasn't i'm just saying due to the slower pace and more applicable paper-rock-scissors principles of brawl its a different game entirely. melee is an artform and it takes years to master just one character where in brawl you can learn 7 simultaneously. I'm just saying due to the bleeding out of the exploitive features that were in melee moves are being used as intended so the dodge counter > dodge > throw > block principle is more solidly rooted in high level mindgames where in melee you can kinda shred people to pieces with certain characters, in melee you kindof "joust" at your oponent in brawl that's prevalent but you also have alot more of people just paper-rock-scissorsing within melee range for longer periods of time. I have more respect for melee players by far because of the dedication involved in mastering their characters though. this game will make more sales then melee ever did because of how less steep the learning curve is. maybe that's a good thing cause we'll be guaranteed alot of variety and skill in our community in the long run.

he says he's getting a job so he could become a consistent teammate for ya. He reads people to a level that never ceases to amaze me, he could be one of the best, he's just a broke ****er.... He's as addicted to Cpt. Falcon as I am to link so that's the only problem x.x who knows maybe falcon's ok in teams, he's a ***** to kill sometimes.

Melee has a better rock paper scissors mechanic than brawl will ever have.

I'm not looking for a perma partner but I would definitely not mind teaming with him. Also I'm trying out wario on your recommendation ;)

I don't understand why anyone would play Melee, it's so obsolete compared to Brawl.

I have to agree with the last part. Ganon is 2good. But what you don't understand about Brawl compared to Melee is that in Brawl, making a mistake means absolutely nothing. If you read your opponent, or if he screws up, what's the punishment? Usually absolutely nothing, because your opponent can instantly save yourself with broken air or spot dodges, rolls and shields. If you're lucky you can get a hit in, or grab, which also leads to nothing. It's just boring. Everyone should just play Ganon and only side-B.

um, why do people respond with such hostility? just talk it out like normal without going to personal levels. whats wrong with you guys? im already over the whole characters thing. and honestly, the only one character that still kinda annoys me is MK. im fine with everyone else.(yes that includes snake).

and yes, its going to get annoying if you just want to have fun with your character of choice, but have to switch just to keep up with another character. you shouldnt have to switch just for one character or one tactic. it's annoying.

i have started learning to switch though. i picked up like two more characters and i am trying to be more balanced. i really don't like the other characters though. it isnt fun for the most part, but i dont want to get left behind.

Completely untrue, because the game is played more slowly, and damage is wracked up slower then melee, every hit counts. 1 screw up could be 20% or more, and while in melee that may not mean much, in brawl its a big deal.

Uh, no. You have it backwards. Since everyone lives to completely ridiculous percents now, 20% means way less than it used to. In melee 20% WAS a big deal, in Brawl it's not.

Completely ridiculous? Like what? No one lives to completely ridiculous presents vs me. I kill most characters at 100% bigger chars at 120%.
