Unknown Light, I don't think inverting characters is a good diea. The shadows are all wrong. I would recommend just changing the hue 180 degrees, you'll end up with the same shading, but opposite colors. Then you can go in a change black to white manually. It will look a lot better.

Do you mean like this?

Edit: How do I get rid of all this white space under the photo? I tried to get rid of it with green kirby up there, but all it did was get rid of the white but keep the huge space.

Hmm. . . Mind if I ask you guys something? How do you re-color so good with it looking bad? Do you just change up the hue and saturation? I tried re-coloring myself, but it always turns out so crappy. I'm no real Photoshopper myself. Just a semi pro tag/sig maker. =P

Unless I already mentioned how you guys do (Hue/saturation), never mind then.

i use the color replacement tool(and magic wand) it gets the best results

btw have seen my metaknight recolor?(it pwns)

Thats what I do too. Anyway I tried the Hue/Saturation technique and this is what i got (minus the oil control gun)

I like using the color replacement tool better.
