to freeze those, you put a line under the one that says x0 in the same format as the other stages.

note that -1 will reverse the stage, not freeze it. when you do it to pirate ship the catapult should stay up, but not have any collision, and the background should move in reverse. i don't know what would happen with BoE. freezing it should just... well, freeze it.

try these lines under the SP line:

Is there a hack that causes the platforms in skyworld not to break?

Also, could somebody supply me with a code with the following stages frozen:

Pokemon Stadium 2
Bridge of Eldin
Castle Siege (first phase)
Norfair
Pirate Ship
Warioware
Distant Planet
Pictochat
Frigate Orpheon (2nd phase w/ platform in the middle)

I've tried using the Cheat Code Manager, tried using GTC Edit, because it, 'seemed' simpler, but all I ever got was an error, and read solutions to that error that didn't help me.

Nothing ever seems to work for me when it comes to codes, ever, even back dating to trying to work game genie codes on my NES.


Basically I want Brawl+ with custom music, which the codeset of the link I posted does not contain, but phantom's code does, but phantoms lacks many of the first link's things.

I used 08 not 09 for pirate ship.

But, I definitely used the right value for Bridge of Eldin and there isn't any effect. King Bulbin still rides along screwing up the bridge under -1 or 0.

Or better yet, what is the exact code for custom music? And how do I exactly add a code to a GTC file, using GTC Edit?

Don't use GCT Edit. It's still buggy and I only very rarely get a working GCT out of it.

The exact code for custom music is the same one you listed above. There is no other code for custom music.

ok, i tried out the freeze code on eldin and i can't figure out why its doing that. my guess is that the id may be wrong, but don't quote me on that.

Thanks for testing too.

It's no big loss. Bridge of Eldin was never going to be a viable map with those walkoff ledges. Though having World Wrap v2 on that map would make it interesting as you can only die off the top.

Anybody have the code for playing vanilla brawl with music, texture hacks and all that? what folder do I place the codes in after turning it into a gct file? Also brawl + freezes when I try to go on wifi or training mode. Sorry, I can never get this right

There's only one code you need -- File Patch 3.5.1 -- that's basically character/stage textures and custom music

Hi,

I'm looking for the codes that allow me to get the PAC files going on my SD card on brawl. I have edited some animations, but im wanting to import them in to my SD card. But all i have is the lastest File Replacement code which is 2.1. Ive attempted at getting it to work but no results. What other codes do i require for it to load the Fit"Character" and FitMotion"character"etc so i can try out my animations.

Help would be appreciated

You forgot 1 line.

Just above the closing line, you need:

0416A904 3F800000 rather than 0416A904 00000000

It says to use 1x speed on all the other stages. The current penultimate line basically freezes everything ;)

Edit:

You also don't have to rewrite all the codes out for each stage. I'll do it for you this time to show you.

What is the feasibility, with all the stage/music relating advances going on,

would there to be create a code which forces a song to be played (in a match) if a certain character is selected?

Very unlikely :ohwell:

You can edit the victory themes, but on stages, linking certain characters to songs could be very hard.

Yeah... I still just need codes to make it so that brawl will read the PAC files for the "FitMotionXXEtc.pac" and "FitXX.pac" off of my SD card. I have the correct path and everything, i just dont know what codes to use for it. All i know if is File Replacement 2.1, what else do i need?

Well, update on my ongoing problem.

My Wii decided to kick the bucket a couple of days ago (stopped being able to read disks, any disks. It was almost two years old and heavily used, though). I just got a new Wii (already has update 3.4U), and I installed Homebrew on it fine, then put in my SD card with Gecko 1.9.1 and my codes and all.

And it still. Doesn't. Work.

So I got a brand-new SD card, put everything on that, and tried it. Nothing. Still goes all the way to the screen with the lizard and the "Applying SD Codes" message and such, flashes green and goes black, and nothing happens. This is really ticking me off. I've replaced practically everything except the codeset itself, and.... ugh.

So, could anyone please be a dear and make an RSBE01.gtc for me, please? With everything except the Stage Freezing codes? I've tried doing it myself, but I cannot figure out the program or understand what a lot of the codes do/are.

Anyone know the status of the partial button press for shield code?
Last I knew of it Pizzaboy was working on it, he made one for the classic remote
and poof, nothing since

Of course it freezes the stages. You've basically written a code to freeze 12 stages. :confused:

What stage is freezing that shouldn't be?

there is no code to get all the songs. you can get a great majority of cd's by using a item swap code. for the challenge cd's your just gonna have to bite the bullet

make sure you have a SD card and not a SDHC card.
if you have a SD card, Try using file replacement 3.5.1

unfortunately no. unlike other transformation FS, bowser actually turns into an entirely different character, and not just an extension of his base character. the only way you could make it infininte is by messing with PSA.
