ok all the sites that have releas dates only put them up because they have to put something up they cant just leave it blank. so no that is not the actual release date. it is still unannounced.
which sucks. trust me you will know as soon as they announce it my guess is the boards are going to be jamed with people talking about it.

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SNF3! These are important announcements:
1. The first tournament will start at 12, to make sure all events happen.
2. Soda will be sold for 50 cents a can, courtesy of Emmy. Hope you like Coke brand products.
3. A new experimental seeding method will take place. People will be seeded into round robin pools based on location, and then placed in a double elim bracket based on the results of the pools. If more than 48 people sign up for singles, pools will be used to eliminate people and place into a smaller bracket (32).
4. Please bring TVs, gamecubes, and copies of smash! The more, the merrier! If you have recording equipment that you'd like to use, please bring that too.
5. Pay attention to labeling on stations. Some stations will be used for recording by OAK. If you don't want to be recorded, please don't play on those stations! If you do want to play on those stations, please use name tags! It'll make my life next week much easier.

I think there is a chance of me/Brookman/other CTers showing up, just rather late (around 1:30-2 PM) probably.
If we are able to go that is, would it be possible to do low tier first? Or possibly teams.

A word of advice... due to SNF2.
Announce matches, get the 2 people, and boot people from playing friendlies ASAP. You don't want the tourny running passed your given time, especially if you're gonna try to run 3 tournaments.
