Btw, are you getting to the place by car? If so, can I join you? I can't drive outside of NJ and I wanna bring a TV. I'm not bringing a TV on a bus though.

At this point there are 64 confirmed attendees on the AiB post. In my experience the actual turnout is up to 20 more than the confirmed amount on AiB.

Hype indeed. Not everybody has AIB so you can't always tell. Are there going to be singles pools like at Chibo's tourney?

pools at this would be interesting.. just gotta see what dmt and helpr and the rest of the polytek crew wants to do, if they dont see this soon, ill bring it up next time i see them at poly.. but im for it =]

I like keeping my options open. DeltaCod also never asked me to team with him. If he did, I would accept it because I'm friends with him. I know all 3 people I asked to team with and asking Cable wasn't fully serious because I know that I'm not at his skill level (though I'd accept to team with him in a heartbeat). we need more hype up in this thread. this thing is just a week away.

Pools sound like it would be fun, but unless we get a rather large number of people we really shouldn't

Pools is more about getting your money's worth because it sucks a lot when you spend $10 tourney fee and end up being bracket ***** and practically lose without getting a chance.

Why is this thread not getting any hype? It's in a week!

take note guys, we were really behind schedule last time. i'm going to be pushing to start doubles at 12 EXACTLY. If you guys are late, you can still make singles, but if you come 30 or more minutes later, we should have started it.

We were really pressed for time last time. you guys have 2 hours to register. and I know that 'starts at 12' usually means 'starts at 1 or 2' but we need to follow the schedule more closely to not get screwed hard at the end.

Lol, I still got bracket ***** at Viridian, even after pools. =P

Also, HelpR, when does the tourney end, cuz I want to do
friendlies with the Poly people, sometime during the tourney.

Finally, are the Poly weekly Brawl/melee gatherings still happening?
I might go to that on the Friday the day before, if they're still going.
If so, I just have to wait at the front of the building, and wait for someone
to sign me in, right?

$5 mm in a 7:3 MU your advantage? Maybe if your character wasn't able to carry you to victory I'd accept. This mm would be like Yes! and DeltaCod ding a MM Wolf vs. Yoshi. If you really think you'd 3-stock me, you're dumb and I will take you up on that. I could probably gimp you.

You play a low-tier you should accept that he has match-ups like that no johns.

I took that from DeltaCod. For his sake, I'm not gonna say how though. My point is that even a mediocre MK has a chance of beating my Mario/Luigi because of how broken he is.

He has one 7:3 MU and it's MK. 8:2 vs D3 with infinite, but it's banned here.
