I have lost before, but i gave Tarek and Bjay, (only to mention those coming to the tourney) run for their money, and that was a while ago to, i'm confident that I'm prepped for the tourney enough to do 'something,' perhaps not win, but its all about fun anyway right

Not to go on an offtopic rant or anything, but why do people insist that playing to win and having fun are two different things? Even here, within a competitive gaming community, I see people separate the two. Is it so impossible to have fun while playing to win? D:

I agree, theres not really anything you can compare between the two, though I enjoy wifi for a bit of fun, I rarely get any noticeable lag, but its definitely not the best was to practice as you can get people who exploit wifi lag, for example Zamus d-smash lock.

EDIT: Also to e_alert, someone who says they go to win can come across as egotistical. I go for fun, and try to win! Believe it or not some people may take the game seriously enough that they only find it fun if they win.

Lucas is fair **** in all honesty, but he's still probably close to my best char.

Everything he does looks all shiny and sexy and his AT's are cool and stuff

Actually, imo, Lucas is one of those characters with a lot of potential to move up the ranks, it's just that from what I've seen, a lot of people suck *** with him and there are very few who have really tried to take his metagame further.

I reckon lucas is at least mid tier if not somewhere near the bottom of top, just takes a while to bring that potential out, I dont think tiers take high learning curves into account
