[NSW] Western Sydney Dramacraft: The home of drama!

Sonic is dumb.
I am planning to host a big meet that weekend, could maybe turn it into a house tourney if nothing else happens. cheeze, you should come either way.
I will be posting more info later this week (after my physics exam)
I have more & better TVs now as well, and possibly another coach although i dont think it will arrive before evo

Well shucks, you guys know me, i'm eager for it and so is my brother.
That's a great idea Gords and I'll come down regardless but I/we seriously need another tournament. The ACT scene is genuinely interested in coming down and we haven't had a tournament in several months. At this point, given how little tournament practice I've had recently I wouldn't even bother going to Shadowloo Showdown. I'm almost at the end of my exam period - holidays in two weeks but I won't be free from 2nd-7th July because i'll be leading on a camp. =C
Oh btw I know how you guys feel now - my school tournament is going fine but maaaaan it's tiring and I literally only do that for like an hour on Fridays. @.@

Guys, there will definately be a meet at my place for the whole EVO weekend (people are welcome to stay from 12-15 July)
If someone else (eg shaya/ted) organizes a tournament at a venue on that weekend then people at my meet can travel to and from venue during the meet.
If no tourney is organized outside of my meet then I am happy to to host a house tourney at my place. Either way everyone should come to my meet for epic smash playing and viewing
The cons and pros of a house tourney at mine you should probably know.
Cons
Will be very cramped,
No much seating
Only 5 or so TVs
Pros
No venue fee,
Don't have to rush (can go late into the night and even over 2 days if needed/wanted)
Can record matches and even live stream,
Everyone can use the net
We can watch EVO live if it is streamed
Everyone should already be at the venue since you all are going to be at my meet anyways
Max Brenner Chocolate Cafe downstairs and 85 degree bakery down the road
Copious amounts of coke and Dr pepper
Things about my meet,
people are free to arrive at my place anytime on Friday 12th July
people can stay until 5pm Monday 15th (may be extended till Tuesday if I can get Monday night off work)
If tourney happens at mine it will most likely happen on Sunday like normal, unless most attendees are at my meet sat and it looks like we won't be able to fit everything in one day)
Remember to bring towels/blankets if you intend to sleep at my place as it can get cold and unfortunately most of you will be needing to sleep on the floor. Also bring a pillow just in case.
If you own a console, bring it
Other activities may include movie or casino for dinner (casino only if we have no minors)

No problem! It's always great to meet new members and an ICs player is really interesting. If EA comes to this then I reckon you'll learn a lot from him, Delux was talking to me via stream the other day and was saying how much EA had done for the ICs and how I should tell hm that.
I haven't seen him lately so I reckon now's as good a time as any to say that. =D
