na,not that i knw of....does the black wii not have any?
I have only s-video Wii cables, which are special for recording. But If I'm only going to have 1 Wii for a college year, I guess I don't need 2 cables. Besides, Radford converted to SF anyways so it's not like I'll actually be recording a serious Smash tournament

I just wanted to keep mine just in unexpected case, but it's cool. Honest

Regardless, I'd say you won that day. The score between us is 2-4, your favor
[collapse=score]GG1 = Bones
GG2 = EPsilon
GG3 = Bones
Crimson's Smash House = Bones
SS 13 (It was 13, right?) = EPsilon
yesterday = Bones

I'm keeping score[/collapse]
damn zant jus ****** in friendlies,i can just imagine him getting stiches n bombs n whatnot..
I did that all the time vs Mahone but missed so many. This 1 time, I pulled a stichface against I think it was Bones and I threw it on the ground. Then I did Peach things and won on our last stocks

Bones and Mahone, What game was it where I down smashed 1 of you into a stichface or something dumb like that?

I know there was at least one instance where I got dsmashed or something super far offstage and got hit by a turnip right after. Also, I believe the only stitch you pulled in all of the MM games was vs. my Marth game 1, last stock. :mad: You had a beam sword vs. my Falco at some point too, but I was able to shield it.

Sucks, but I mean no rush for my Marth set. lol :c That matchup is way harder than I thought it would be. Mahone said the same thing today. We were both like "Pfft, how could Marth vs. Peach be hard? You just smack her." Then we realized you can just CC everything... Q_Q

Peach can't get passed swords. It's 60:40. I've been ***** by Sange too much. Your Marth is just... I'm ********. I don't know why your Marth was easier. I could do things

I mean, I can't even remember the last time I played that matchup at all. lol Not johning or anything. I just felt like I had to completely learn how to play it during the course of the set. Like I got to game 3 and was thinking in my head mid-match, "Oh, maybe I should uthrow and try to juggle." That helped a lot, but you had already won twice, and I kinda figured I would do bad on FD (which made me play sillier than I should have I think). Then I just had the biggest choke on YS. I fsmashed you off stage and it should have been game, but I choked, let you back on, and full hop naired because I hard read a jump or something. XD

Idc though. It was a good learning experience for adaption, honestly. Most people (myself included) never force themselves to learn a bunch of new things in such a short period of time, so hopefully I can just take that exp and apply it adaption for player-specific stuff. If I had played you in a bunch of Marth vs. Peach friendlies beforehand, I think it would have been a lot less even. And I don't mean I necessarily would have been winning. I just think one of us would have "figured out" the other in a broader sense after 10 or so matches, and from there it would be more consistent gameplay. The way we played was quite tournament-esque because neither of us were familiar at all with each other's style, and every stock felt really unique. Again, that's why I almost liked it more because when you go into tournament, feeling out the opponent is often the majority of the set.

You thought up that? You're not ********. Congrats! Marth players need to learn to uthrow Peaches

I was so saved

Yeah, I learned a few tricks too. I didn't know how to handle Falco ledge drop jump double laser onto the stage. Then I learned to throw my own project tile or just simply stand close enough to where you'll land after doing it and mash jab hoping to hit you first

Yeah, I felt the same way, having to change faster than someone catching up to my knowledge of the matchup

Yo, who all is gonna be at FC?

I'm going, but it'll be the first time I've played in like two months, and I'm gonna need someone to help me shake off the rust before the tourney starts.

Alright everyone, I guess I'm hosting a tournament on the 11th, which is the weekend of FC.

I need cubes, a few chairs, and if someone has a table they could bring, let me know because I have the space and TVs. Depending on how many people are interested I might be able to utilize a couple more TVs.

Push it forward a week plz?
It's also worth mentioning that there's a Brawl tournament in Ellicott City the same day. I'm not much of a Brawl player, but there might be some people who play both games and it seems silly to have conflicting tournaments in a region that barely has any to begin with.

edit: and also then the ppl who actually are going to FC could go to this too.
