All I'm saying is that if any of you, ANY OF YOU, had a situation like this come up, I'd donate money for you guys (if I know you). Why I still call him a friend doesn't have to do with that part at least.
It's nice to know you have your friends' back and all, and I don't mean to preach, but don't let people screw you over, sir. You're far too kind.

He must be giving you sexual favors then.
Those are the best kinds :bee:

You morons couldn't grasp a simple concept of constitutionality and thought I was saying evacuating was dumb? You're idiots with the brain of a gnat. I said it wasn't constitutional to force people to leave their homes, not that it's dumb to leave.

I did leave my house at the beach and evacuate. Then I had horrible luck with where I put my car. They closed a floodgate they usually don't use and it screwed me. There are two other cars there.

Good thing I quit Smash. You people are trashy kids that don't understand what it feels like to have something valuable you work for destroyed. Hell, most of you don't even know what earning money and paying bills is like."

I lol'd at this. He says stuff like that while you're trying to raise a donation for him.. What a fool.
He's right with everything he said. FORCING people to evacuate doesn't seem right either imo. If people wanna risk their lives then so be it. They are well within their right.

If he DID evacuate like he said then he should have taken more care of his parking location. When the wind was going I made sure my car was out of harms way from trees long before it took place. I'm fairly surprised he didn't bother to check the level of water rising around the car but so be it.

He has a point about smash as well. It's silly for him to insult possible donators, but he's still being honest after all.

Personally I won't be donating to help. Quite frankly I don't have spare money to help atm, and I think that better judgment should've been taken. Mainly since I don't have the money though.

Mandatory Evacuation doesn't even mean you HAVE to leave <_<

It's just extremely suggested, and basically the city shuts down with usually things like an early curfew for everyone, some roads being shutdown, and emergency help not being available.

I'm shocked Inui actually thought it meant you are forced out of your house against your will.

Umm I have mixed feelings about this. My uncle's town cut the power of to the town since they had a mandatory evac as well. I suppose they had good reason to since nobody should have been there during the hurricane anyway, but damn....

Mandatory evacuation is, I guess, a breach of personal rights; however, it's still very silly not to abide by it. I bet Inui was the kid who never went out for fire drills in high school.

My town had a mandatory evac and the power wasn't shut off. The town I went to was not under evac but the power was purposefully turned off. Due to how the power is set up in certain areas, sometimes electricity is shut off to avoid damage to the power from the rain. Basically I would think it would be like, either forced shut off for a little bit of time, or keeping it on and either hoping it stays on or risking it going out for a long period of time.

Agreed. It's important to take precautions however at the same time you're paying that provider for power. Having them shut it off bc of a mandatory evac is to be met with different views from people imo.

Na I don't think it's being shut off from the mandatory evac is what I'm saying, completely separate reason to prevent any destruction of the power sources. Like how my mandatory evac town kept it on but the town I went to not mand evac shut it off.

Perhaps. I'm not informed enough to say anything concrete, but if that was the case with it being bc of the evac then I'm not sure if I agree with that.

Overall people had a great deal of time to prepare for this. Some things couldn't be prevented, but car damage could've.

Get at Keitaro knowing the ins and outs of Inui's body.

Any talk of the ins will be met with an infraction.

it was a joke

hurricane = flood

fire alarm = fire
Thanks *******. It was a ****ty joke so it made no sense regardless. Glad to know that hurricanes bring water though.

I don't really blame Inui for removing anyone who's giving him negative commentary. You could at least wait until he's not so mad about what happened to start rubbing it in his face. I mean that towards his friends. People like Yes! who don't like him at all I don't blame for their immediate commentary

Where do you guys play at Rutgers Newark/NJIT. I'm kind of stuck here with 2 hour gaps in between my classes.
I forgot that both you and Riz go to NJIT/RUNewark now. We are probably going to be playing Tuesday but I'm not sure what time yet. Ill be posting back in the thread when I know.

I may start tagging along since I don't have school Tuesdays and I heart the Riz-anator FF 20XX.

Still too early to tell, but I'll let you guys know.

We usually play in Keith Kush's lounge at NJIT. Its usually myself, Kush and Jbandrew but now Riz goes to NJIT and Dr. Brawl does to (or RU) so its looking like some future epic smashfests.

You smashers are finally starting to get into them 4 years colleges which is lovely convenient for smash.
